The voices of people in and around the palace were heard and broke the silence of the night. In one corner of the desolated building, Rion stood opposite Duke Adhelard. They hadn’t seen each other in a long time.
Looking at Duke Adhelard, the memories of Lucas sprang up in Rion’s mind. He held his breath. His heart ached and his chest tightened, filled with guilt, but he covered it with a face as flat as a board.
