Chapter 2

"He's your new roommate.My apology if I didn't leave any note last night."Ms.Bridgett apologies with her sweet closed eye smile as I just let it slide and shake my head in respond.

Ms.Bridgett was an old lady around in her 70's and doesn't have any family neither a husband for herself.She would usually would wear her long dresses and she also wears a glasses to support her from the bad eyesight she had since she was a kid and she already has white strands on her hair,but she still smells good than any old woman and mens around I saw around.

"I should've not acted like that."I said while scratching the back of my hair and looked at my new rommate.

My roommate was indeed tall and he's even taller than me about 5-10 centimeters if I can get that right.He has white skin,light blonde hair and green eyes he's wearing a black hoddie with black long jeans and a pair of white sneaker shoes not to forget the white mask he was wearing from the beginning up until now.

'Why don't he just take off that mask? My apartment doesn't even smell.'I thought as he suddenly cleared his throat.

"If you're thinking why do I wear a mask and wouldn't just take it off,it's not because your apartment smell or anything I just wear it without any valid reasons."He said which I just nod my head as respond.

"I can say that both of you would get along.I hope you boys would have a good night and dinner if you haven't yet.You have the keys,right dear?"Ms.Bridgett asked my new roommate as he nods and let Ms.Bridgett kissed him in the cheek as she did the same to me before leaving the apartment and I then got engulf by a silent atmosphere with him.

"So~I'm Daniel Lee,you can call me Dan--"He cut me off.

"I don't care what's your name and I'm gonna call you whatever I want roomie.So,I'm just gonna head to my room now."He said and with that he left me alone in the living room and proceed to his room.

I could feel a twin of veins just popped out from my forehead from the rude trait that I got from a new person especially with a new roommate.

"Well,as a welcome I should make something for him,don't wanna make any bad relationship with a roommate."I sighted and went to the kitchen as I wash my hand first before proceeding on making some beef stew tonight.

I then placed two plates on the counter and two glass with pairs of fork and spoon into our plates and put the tissue box between our plates and then took out the juice out of the fridge and I could smell the aroma of beef stew.

"I could really become a chef."I joked to myself and wipe my sweats away.

My foster family do recommend me to become a chef,but I choose the Arts and Design Tracks since it inspires me when I was still a kid and I'm also good at arts but still upgrading and learning on the design though,but I'm sure I'll get good on it later on.

*CLICK*

"Are you cooking beef stew?"Speaking of the devil my rude roommate finally came out from his room and went to sit right away into the stool chair as I turned around only to get freeze myself like a statue leaving into an eye widened towards him.

He might be attractive earlier,but right now without his hoodie on only a plain orange shirt and without the mask he was more attrative and more handsome than me which kind of frustrates me inside.

'How blessed is this guy? I could say that if he has the same personality as me,girls would be all over him.'I thought as he raises a brow and cleared his throat which wakes me up from my senses.

"Sorry 'bout that."I said as I give him the plate of rice and the beef stew which he then helped me to get some beef stew on my bowl since he was more closer to it than me as we then started to eat our dinner in silence.

'Why this guy wouldn't open any topic to commmunicate with me? I mean,random new roomate would go talk and open some topics to communicate with their other roomate.'I thought as he then stood up and drink the glass of water.

"Sleeping already?"I asked as he stop from his tracks and speak without looking back at me.

"Nah,I'm gonna continue on my job tonight."He said and with that he then went inside his room and I could hear the twitching of the lock inside of his room.

"H-He's quite mysterious one.."I mumbled out as I sighted and started to clean the dishes.

*PHONE RINGS*

I received a message from my friend Caesar that he was at bar not that far from my apartment building with girl on him already and another single notification from the dating app that I downloaded a week ago and some random girls started adding me into their chat and send some things like their own pictures in a portrait with anything they do on.

I replied Caesar's message with a 'I'll be there in 5 minutes.' and then changed into blue sweater with white stripes on each arm's sides and a grey sweat pants with a pair of red shoes and black cap on with my wallet and phone on the pocket before leaving the apartment without telling my roommate where am I off to since he's busy with his 'work tonight'.

I finallly arrived at the destination through walking than using my car and the place was on the small bar back at the convenience store's building it was full of male and female making out on the corner and some garbages were on the ground which leaves a nasty smell as I covered my nose using my right elbow while heading towards to the main door and the single guard immediately let me in inside since their bar accept 17 years old and above.

*CLICK*

"Yo Daniel~!"It was indeed Caesar and from his looks he's almost fully drunk as I went to their table and sat beside him while a single chick accomapnied his side flirting while Caesar was chuckling at her actions and I just rolled my eyes.

"So,why did you call me out? I did told you that I won't be coming tonight earlier at school."I said as he apolgizes with a hilarious way as I hide my laugh at him.

"I just called you because I have a good news!"He exclaimed as he showed me the phone that has messages which were just new.

"You wanna meet up with a dude?"I said raising brow as he chuckled and nudge me by the arm.

"Silly,of course not! I meant,is that I finally got you a dude to meet up and for that guy I just texted he seems interesting and has the only similar with you that I can't find with any other dudes I know."He said.

"What do you mean?"I asked as I give his phone back as he then put it back on his pocket.

"You guys like comic or manga,I guess?--Whatever is that called!"He said.

'Is he for real? I mean,there's a lot of male that likes comic and manga and he only said this 'only common' that I have with this dude that he texted to meet up?'I thought.

"I'll give you his number and it's your choice whether you would spend the night with me in the bar or go home."He said as I chuckled at him and started to order some drinks for me as a single chick then accompanied me.

It was already 1 am early in the morning as I clsoed my laptop and put it back on the large drawer underneath the table before I stretch my arms and legs out.

"It seems he's already asleep.Kind of surprising to know that a male student like him wouldn't go partying on this time."I sighted then went out from my room heading to the kitchen to get some water to drink.

I decided to go out for some fresh air as I wear my black hoodie earlier and started closed the door before lasing my rubber shoes and started walking down to the stairs.

*FOOTSTEPS*

I could hear someones groan and footsteps as I slow my pace of walking down to the stairs since I don't want to get bumped with a drunk male or female on the building and get things heat up on his/her way.

As so as I met up-close the person that I could feel was someone drank it was my roomate named Dan..What was his name again? Whatever,it was just Dan.

"Oh,I thought I was right about you,but seems like you aren't a good boy."I said as I put my hands on my pocket while looking down on him as he started looking up to me with a drunk eyes and shaky smile.

"Oh,hey roomie~!"He cooed as I sighted and he then suddenly hit the cold hard floor which shocked me and helped him to stood up as he then suddenly chuckled.

"Why are you chuckling?"I asked as he looked at me with a crack smile.

"It's just funny that I got my face hot it went cold for a bit."He said which chuckled me of how idiot he was while he's drunk

"Idito."I mumbled out as I helped him to stood up and we went back to the apartment changing my schedule this time to help a drunk roommate.

*THUD*

I then gasped for air on how smelly and stinky he was especially the drink still on his breath which I then washed my face on the sink and dry it with a towel and went back to the couch where I lay him down as he easily drifted to sleep.

"What's wrong with his guy?"
