Chapter 5

He then told me everything that he knew me ever since the day he stopped eating with me from breakfast,lunch and dinner because he was feeling guilty and wanted to go distant that's why he also decided to meet up this day to stay away from each other as I laugh hard about his reason.

"What are you talking about? Going distant did we ever do something wrong? I mean,you often tease and make fun of me but that doesn't count as a sin and you're a good one to befriend with my mysterious roomate."I said as he chuckled.

"But,you're name's really weird from Dan to Dandelion?"He said as we chuckled and I shake my head.

"My complete name is Daniel,Daniel Lee and not Dan but feel free to call me that if you wanted too also the reason why I named my acc 'Dandelion' it's because there are more of my favorites than the other flowers."I said as he nods in respond.

"Yeah,they are..But,tulips and orchids are my ones."He said.

"My foster mother and father love those kinds."I said as he raise a brow and let out a low chuckle before responding to him.

"I was born without any parents and only had a foster one."I said as he nod his head in acknowledgement.

"Tell me about yourself then,Dan."He said as I slgihtly nod my head in agreeing his request.

I told him all of the details about my foster parents and how I decided to live my own life at a young age and still manage to live,to buy and to pay everything that I cost and use in any important things to be on my own living.Also about the Tracks that I took now in college which is the Arts and Design.He also told me something about himself,but still in his short replies.He's Rain and 20 years old he works solo but still having the appointment to be moved into a group of manga illustrators as soon as possible as what he says.

I did asked him if he ever publish any manga works by himself,but he just avoid that question whenever I asked repeatedly so I decided not to force him to answer it since it could be something personal for him and doesn't want to share his work of experience and his artwork as what I've thought only.

Rain ordered a blueberry parfait and pair it with a 2 pieces of chocolate muffin and I ordered a cookie cream granola and pair it with a strawberry shortcake.The both of us have a good conversation but Rain still keep his limits of talking but he also often smiles whenever I blurted out a crack joke of myself especially my sudden moves.

At the end,Rain and I,us decided to still keep in touch and what have we already are at as friends as what I confirmed and he agreed.Few days had passed and Rain would often go to have breakfast and dinner with me or he would even take me out if we both have free time.

Currently,today was Saturday at night and Rain drag me to the couch to watch with him a romance love about gays.Even if I didn't like the movie that much I still got to talk even a bit with Rain and have snacks that he bought off to the supermarket earlier when he was out.

"What's your sexuality,Dan?"He suddenly asked as I burst out of chuckling and he did the same.

"Umm,I'm a male and straight..Sorry,uh.For chuckling out of nowhere like that,how about you?"I said as he shake his head in udnerstandment.

"I'm a male but I prefer also males."He said and as I heard his answer I suddenly got a small attack or even an ache to my heart.

I don't know if this weird feeling right now that just happen to occur makes me scared or nervous after I heard Rain's answer from my question that also came from him and he then laughed out of nowhere as I raise a brow out of curiosity.

"I know,I know it's kind of weird to prefer a male because I think you haven't seen or meet someone before like me and it's your first time,but don't worry I won't like you."He said as I just crack a small laugh and smiled at him.

'What does he mean by that? Am I supposed to be happy? Or to be more nervous?'

Rain probably reads my sudden weird of action as he scooth himself beside me and lightly smack me in the arm as I looked at him.

"Just rest assured Dan,I won't like you."He said as I just smiled and nod my head and believing his words.

THE NEXT DAY

It was Sunday and I've got no things to do I was extremely bored at the apartment all alone since Rain was out somewhere to his work as what the note says on the door of his room.Caesar was hanging out from yesterday up until now with Allison since we've met and seen her once again after years of separation.

"Caesar really likes Allison no matter what and how many girls he got,huh.."I sighted and lay myself on the couch while looking up to the ceiling and thinking what Rain is doing at his work.

'He's seriously more older than me about 3 years..He's a manga illustrator working solo,but now has a team to work onto it and a gay which is also a mysterious roommate of mine still..'

Even though Rain told me already his name,his work and his age.But,he never told me about his life with his parents neither having any siblings especially his last name,he might have some sort of valid reason to not tell me.

I then gasped out of nowhere after realizing what I've just thinking and came up with a conclusion and idea at the same time about Rain's last name.

"He might be some sort of came from a rich or famous family,perhaps that he's hiding and not telling me his last name because he wanted not to be all over with the reports and paparazzi."I then got myself out from the couch and started looking inside of his room without barging in since it was lock and there was a small hole glass on it so I take a peek and analyze the area once again inside of his room through the hole glass.

My meeting with my co-worker on the manga has finally ended and I decided to went into the nearest bakeryshop that I saw while driving here and suddenly thought about one of Dan's favorite desserts which is the cookie crumble cake as I went inside of the shop and bought a whole of it so we could share it for tonight and treat him since he must be extremely bored all alone in the apartment.

"Is that all,sir?"The old lady asked as I point another cake but stopped myself when I remember what I said to Dan before.

"Rest assured Dan,I won't like you."

'Ugh,Why did I even say that when I can't.'

"Do you want this too,sir?"She asked once again as I shake my head in respond.

Strawberry shortcake was also his favorite but I prevent myself and also don't want to make his teeth ache tonight.

"Then,I'd like to take that strawberry shortcake instead,please."A sweet voice of a female could be heard as the old lady took it and then wrap it for the female whom ordered.

The female has a long light golden hair with a pair of ocean blue eyes,she was also tall and has a white skin.Her body could be called almost perfection together with her sweet voice as she notices me and makes a small wave and smiled as I just nod back to her.

"Here's my payment."I hand to the old lady as she thanked me and I took the paper bag when the female grab my arm and suddenly shake my hand.

'Crap,why now and how did she notice me?'

"Aren't you that famous solo manga illustrator? The manga illustrator who keeps hiding?"She asked with the excitement in her face as I sweatdrop.

"It's really you! I can't believe it I'm a huge fan of yours!"She exclaimed and the people from the outside were looking at us because of the scene she just made up.

"Excuse me,please could you--"

"Rain Celeste! The author of the famous manga and illustrator!"
