Javier Alonzo's limousine brought us to his home where a small intimate birthday celebration is happening. I was hesitant and shy to dine in with them at first. But when I noticed the warning flashing in the old man's eyes, I swallowed the shyness in my throat and settled on the seat beside his eldest son.
They're a family of lawyers and businessmen. And his wife was a beauty queen! I saw her pageant on the television when I was a mere kid. I remembered holding back the shriek wanting to escape from my mouth while silently cheering for her.
