Chapter Two

Elle's Point of View '

I was walking down the hallway when one of my classmates calls me

"Elle!  where are you going? "she's asking me if where I'm going is she nuts?  Of course, I'm going to our class. "Seriously?  we have a  class". I told  her

"Didn't you read our Group chat? "she answers.  Oh okay, I'm  starting to get pissed off."What group chat?? ". I asked her there's only one group chat that we have and it's  really nonsense, for example, you'll ask them about the assignment they'll  just gonna reply you with this " Nah  stop doing your Assignment your not good example for us " See why am I not a good example if I'm  reminding them to do their  duties

"OH! I see you didn't bother to read it again,  We don't have a class the teacher was not around he had an emergency meeting". She explained while brushing her hair.

"Oh thank you for informing have to make some calls". As I thanked her I get my phone out and try to call my friends.

"Hey Fie where are you right now?  I'm in school but I can't find you here".I said as I call Fie My friend.

"Were at  Library reading some pocketbooks there's a lot of new fiction here and I can't wait for you to arrive I mean we me and Rele she's more excited than me ".Fie Explaines while laughing.

"Haha Just wait for me there okay? ".I said while laughing  I can imagine Rele  Being excited I remember when we're 1st-year college I slept at the library but no one bothers to wake me up cause they thought  I was just alone while my friends thought I've got first to the room they forget my existence that day because reading too much.

As I was heading to the library I saw him sitting at the library's stairs playing with his phone again I passed at them when he suddenly calls my name "Elle". I look back and he's smiling I raise my eyebrows at him.

"What do you want freak? ". I asked him I'm nervous really being near to the person you love secretly and you're trying to hide what you really feel,  He looks at me I feel conscious of the way he stares at me but I hide it,  I avoid meeting his eyes. 

"Nah,  I'm just being friendly to you we've been classmates since last year but you never talk to me ".He said while still smiling.

"I don't need you to be my friend cause I already had a friend so if you'll excuse me I'm going to my friends and you are blocking the stairs". I look at him with no emotions on my face can't he feel that I like him more than a friend?  Maybe he doesn't care about me at all why would he care I'm just his classmate band he doesn't even know how I felt for him,  he didn't know that I'm wishing that my feelings for him all fade away. 

I turned my back at him while there's a tear that fells from my cheeks wipe it before someone will saw It, it's hard to be in love with someone who you'll see every day.

I was near the library's door when Fie and Rele opened it.

"Elle,  where have you been?  we've been waiting for you for 15 minutes,  and why do your eyes seem swollen? ". Fie asks with care toned.

"Yah can you tell us what happened? ". Rele asked me in a concerned voice.

I forgot to tell you that even my closest friends in school don't know how I feel for him.

"Nah dust came in from my eyes so that's why it is swollen you guys have nothing to worry about". I faked a laugh trying to convince them that it's really nothing.

"Oh okay let's go to the canteen I'm starving".Fie said while touching her tummy

"Haven't you eat breakfast yet?". I asked her I know her as an early bird she didn't skip any breakfast for her "It's better to skip lunch than to skipped breakfast".

"I forget to eat my breakfast because I thought  I'll be late, but look at what happened there's no class but at least I let me borrow some books from the library".She said while she's showing the books that she borrowed from the library.

"She Drags me here I'm not n my way to our classroom when she drags me here ".Rele said while laughing at Fie.

"What are we waiting for let's grab some breakfast I'm starving too you know". I said while touching my own tummy.

As we got down the stairs I saw him again and he's still there I thought he already left with his friends.

"Hi Fie,  Hi Rele". He said to them while looking at me, "Your friend seems in a bad mood, I mean what's new right she's been like that to me ever since we've become classmates she's to talking with everyone except me". He said while Laughing sarcastically

"Hi Chris,  You know Elle she's so mean when it comes to boys and she's hungry right now".Rele answered him, But before he can answer I told them that we should go and have our breakfast before Bell's ring again.

"Your so Rude to Chris Elle". Fie said while looking directly into my eye.

"You know Fie it's better to be rude than to have an issue didn't you saw Gem face when will talk to Chris?  she's like saying the way she stares that  Back off Chris is Mine.. they are M.U right Gem told me that Chris and she have been saying  I love you with each other but they are not officially together ". I said while trying to hide the bitterness in my voice.

"Nah but I've heard Chris and his friends that it was just a joke and Gem take it seriously, didn't he also said I love you to you? ".  Rele asked there's something wrong with the way she talks it's like she's pairing me with Chris.

"Let's forget about them and Let's order ".I said I just want to change the topic.

as we finished eating our lunch the bell suddenly rings that was mean it's time for our third period.

"Class I have a project for you all I want you to make a movie for this I hope you'll finish it by the end of the month that's all and you make leave the room".The teacher said while explaining the details of our filmmaking project.

As the teacher left the room our class president calls an emergency meeting for our class.

"Guys this storied place in a  sugarcane land so who would suggest with the place? ".

"Rose maybe we can shoot it in our city the place was suitable for it. " Mary suggested and everyone's agreed with it.

"So that's it, it's settled then we'll be starting on  Friday so anyone can have no excuses".Rose said to everyone.
