Chapter 4

Finding Love

I woke up at exactly 4:00 am to use the restroom. I was so tired and had a banging headache. I looked at my roommate and she was sleeping peacefully, I smiled and made my way to the restroom. I helped remove her shoes and change her clothes earlier since she was so tired and greatly under the influence of liquor.

I was about to lie down when I decided to check my phone, it had been on vibration the night before. I was shocked when I saw 50 missed calls and a message which read: "Meet me exactly 7:00am tomorrow, I have an assignment for you, Damien".

I panicked on seeing the calls but the good memories with Jake the night before made me smile. I fell in love with him immediately I saw him and wanted to meet him again. I wanted more.

I got to find out he was a basketball player who was very famous in school. But why didn't I know him? Probably because I didn't like basketball. I smiled again thinking about him and my love for basketball suddenly grew, I managed to sleep again but woke up to the sound of the alarm clock in my room.

I managed to check the time and realised it was 6:30am already, I was running late. I quickly rushed to the bathroom to have a bath and then wore one of the dresses Alpha Damien got for me.

Alicia was still sleeping and I did not want to bother her. I ran as fast as I could to the Alpha's abode. He was about leaving when I got there, he seemed angry but I could tell he was trying to get a hold of himself.

He beckoned on me to stay at the back of the car while he stayed in front with his driver Alphonsus.

The ambience was quite frightening and very quiet. "My source told me that you were seen with Alpha Jake, I hope nothing is going on with you guys? " He finally broke the silence.

"Who is Alpha Jake? " I asked in surprise. I remember meeting Jake, not Alpha Jake. "Could it it be what I am think? " I mumbled.

"Oh, you didn't know. I guess that deceiver could not tell you he's an alpha, well you've heard it" he smiled wickedly.

"Well, if you have anything with him, you better end it because it will not work" he continued. My slight smile faded away on hearing him. But I would not have it, I agreed to be his slave so he could protect me and not to tell me who I could and could not date.

"Why is that? " I stammered. Damien gave me a fierce look but kept mute.

"You better cut all ties with him, He and his pack are sworn enemies to our pack and since you are my slave, you cannot be intimate with him" he muttered.

I didn't say a word again, my eyes changed out of anger but I tried to hide it. I did not want Damien to know I was his kind.

We got to a quiet place, like a bush path and he instructed Alphonsus to stop. He came down from the car and opened the rear door for me, I got down and wondered what we were doing in such a place.

"Walk with me" He said. We walked for some time and got to a beautiful building, it was so hard to believe that there was such a beautiful place in such a forest.

He opened the door and asked me to get in while he asked the driver to wait. I saw a lot of guys when we got in, turned out it was a warehouse where he did his dirty jobs. He was into production and sale of hard drugs and also printed fake money.

My mouth was thrown open at the site. "You will spend the day here with me" he said putting on a cruel smile. Indeed he was very handsome, but he seemed mean as well.

I did not want this kind of life, I wanted better. But it felt like I was in a cage, I could not move.

I stopped getting bullied at school and now I am in another mess. I was obviously going to miss the basketball game Jake invited me to the previous night.

I didn't know how to deal with that since I really wanted to see him. I also remember that we didn't exchange phone numbers the other night so there was no way I could reach him.

I didn't care if he didn't tell me about himself, I just wanted to see him.

"Shit" I screamed and he turned around to look at me where he was talking with one of his boys. I was turning 18 soon and I have not even found my mate.

I felt Jake was the one because of the connection we had.

I was also scared to transform again. The first time I did, I literally felt so much pain, my bones cracked a lot. I was thinking of so much at the same time. One thing was sure, I had to see him as soon as possible.

Damien finally let me go by 7pm. I was so exhausted, I inserted the key inside the key hole and opened the door. I took a quick shower, changed into my nightie and laid on the bed to sleep. Alicia was not around, maybe she had gone to the club.

I was just dosing off when I heard a soft knock on the door. I was quite scared, who could be knocking by this time? Did Damien come back? I was still thinking when the knock came again.

I opened the door and saw the most handsome man that have ever existed. My body yearned for him when I saw him, he looked more handsome than ever.

But I was confused as to how he knew my house, I did not give him any address.

"Hi, may I come in?" he asked. I nodded and he got inside the house while I locked the door. Before I could say anything else, he grabbed me and kissed me with a hunger I couldn't resist.

I moaned as he kissed me and his muscular arms worked their way all over my body. He touched me in a way I had never been touched, I was lost in a world of ecstasy.

He pulled up my gown and wanted to slide his finger into me when I let out a moan. "Please take it easy, I have not done this before" I begged.

He nodded. "Don't worry, I will be gentle" he assured me. He did crazy things to me that made me want more. Then he suddenly stopped when I wanted him more.

"Marry me now" he said. My eyes widened at his request. "Wh... What? " I stammered. "I am not joking, we do not need a priest. We have us here, I really want to do this but I want you to be mine first" he continued.

"It will give me so much joy to be yours, I will marry you now" I uttered. We exchanged vows and before I knew it, I became Jake's wife.

We didn't have any ring but he gave me his favorite necklace, said his dad gave him when he was coming to campus. It meant so much to him but he had to give me since I am now his wife.

We continued with our romance, and for the first time in my life I was being intimate with someone I wanted with every part of me.

We made sweet love that night and were lost in a world of passion that only us could be in. I could only think of my new husband.....
