As the conversation veered toward an uncomfortable exchange, Siya stepped in, attempting to redirect the focus.

"Manila, let's not ruin the night with negativity. We're all here to enjoy each other's company."

Manila smirked, enjoying the discomfort she was causing.

"Oh, I'm just making conversation. Isn't that what reunions are about? Catching up on the sad tales of those who didn't quite make it."

Alice took a deep breath, fighting the urge to retort with equal venom. "Manila, if you're here to mock, maybe it's best you find someone else to bother."

Manila's eyes narrowed, and for a moment, it seemed like she might escalate the situation. However, Lisa interjected, attempting to lighten the mood.

"Come on, Manila, let's grab a drink. It's a celebration, after all."
