A blissed Monday but the opposite for another

Monday mornings are always a rush for workers, especially Mr Xander. He groggily wakes up, his eyes still adapting to the early morning light. He quickly gets out of bed and heads to the bathroom to brush his teeth and take a shower, as it's Monday and work calls. As he steps out of the shower, he takes glances at the clock and realizes that he needs to hurry if he wants to beat the morning traffic and accomplish seeing Susan this morning. He quickly puts on his clothes and rushes out of the door, grabbing his keys from the table on his way out.

He hops into his car and starts the engine, ready to face another day at work. But today, he has a surprise in store for his one and only baby, Susan. He makes a stop on his way and picks her up to work. As he drives towards Susan's place, he can feel the adrenaline pumping through his veins. He's happy, expecting to see the look on her face when she sees him. As he pulls up outside her apartment, he sees her stepping out of the building.
