Chapter 300 Colluding in Misery

Christina was tall and strong, almost twice the size of Faye.

Christina's expression darkened; she refused to give up, using all her strength. However, instead of dragging Faye away, she was thrown off. She stumbled and hit the wall.

Nurses hurried over upon hearing the commotion. They were greeted with the sight of a calm and composed Faye and a disheveled Christina leaning against the wall. They were momentarily puzzled.

Faye glanced at the nurses at the door.

In a chilling tone, she said to Christina, "As the attending physician, your first duty when a patient is in distress should be to escort the patient's family out, not to bicker with me. Why aren't you focusing on urgent care?"

Christina's face slightly darkened; she straightened up and said sternly, "If it weren't for your interference, how could I lose focus?"

Faye sneered. "You're a doctor. A split-second decision could mean a life. At times like these, do you have time to argue with me or even fight?"
