The night deepened as the sea breeze howled, tousling Faye's long hair.

Cedric was captivated by the sight of this.

Moonlight spilled onto Faye's face, accentuating her fair complexion and adding a touch of delicacy. Her laughter, pure yet sly, exuded a lazy charm that increasingly enchanted Cedric.

Cedric's face briefly contorted with anger as memories of her previous words resurfaced.

He muttered under his breath, "He made the mistake of bullying my wife. What happened before was just a warning ..."

His frown deepened as he continued, "I didn't expect him to forget his lesson so quickly, let alone dare to covet my wife's belongings."

Amused, Faye teased, "So, how do you plan to deal with him?"

"Shall I leave him to you, Faye?"

Faye snapped her fingers and said, "That's right, just leave it to me."

Despite losing the diamonds, Faye seemed unaffected as she was even able to joke about it.

A complicated expression formed on Cedric's face and he asked, "What about that box?
