40 - Stop putting yourself in these situations

It was late when I received some messages from Elliot asking if I was okay. I quickly responded to the messages and put my phone away; I was feeling too emotionally messy to have a conversation right now.

I put on my headphones and hit play on Queen's album, the only band that makes me feel better when I'm dealing with my emotional crap.

Really, "Love of My Life" was the perfect song for the moment. My eyes filled with tears, and I broke down, soaking my pillow for several minutes until I fell asleep from my inexplicable, hellish exhaustion.
