Once again, the damn divorce issue. She was pressuring me to continue with the process, and it deeply upset me. I wouldn't give her the chance to leave. Is it selfish of me? Yes, it is. But I don't care. My heart screams for her. Maybe that's why I let her go two years ago, afraid of how she might feel about me.

I wanted to reclaim all the days I missed with her, but now I had this new problem with Elena that would keep her in our lives forever. I sat on the couch, furrowing my brow, trying to regain some of my sanity.

On one hand, I felt happy hearing the baby's heartbeat with Elena this morning, but I couldn't forget Morgana for anything. I want her with me. I want her to smile at me like she smiled at that stupid doctor.

I rested my head on the back of the couch. How much confusion I had on my shoulders. I heard knocks on the bedroom door, and I muttered, "Come in," when James entered, looking nervous and tired.
