Chapter 81

"Excuse me." She didn't want to force her way past him, so she could only speak politely to him; however, Nicholas didn't step back. Instead, he took a step forward, closing the distance between their bodies, and turned his head to look at Luna.

"Go check the bathroom."

It turned out he had overheard the conversation between her and Luna, and though Clarice didn't want to bother them, she knew that if Nicholas wanted to interfere, she simply couldn't refuse. So, Luna received the request and immediately headed to the bathroom. Clarice was stuck in Nicholas's position, unable to move, so she could only lower her head.

"Thank you, Nicholas!"

"Clarice, tell Edward that there's no benefit in doing things that harm others, but John Longhini is not a good person either." Nicholas's gaze landed on the top of her head, and his voice was emotionless, just pure advice. Upon hearing this, Clarice's face changed slightly.
