Ken squeezed hard his eyes, he felt an externally hard pain in his head. He opened his eyes but he couldn't. He can hear some sounds, like someone was crying, someone talking.
He tried to open his eyes again, and he saw a very dreadful scene in front of him. His mother was sitting on a chair, helplessly looking towards him only, like she was just waiting for him to open his eyes. Like her life depends on this. He saw her eyes widened when she realised he was getting conscious, he blinked twice before trying to get up.
He moved his hand but he couldn't. Then he understood his hands and legs were tied with a rope, he was tied to a chair in the middle of his own house. It didn't take him much time to realise it, he found someone's gaze on him.
He is here
Claire licked her lips and moved her eyes. She tried to get up, holding her head between her hands. She felt a huge pain in her head, she still felt her head was wading. She could hear some voices around her, but everything seems strange to her.She squeezed her eyes, trying to remember what happened last time. She shot open her eyes, only to meet her own dark life. She ignored it and remembered her Dad being hit by a car, she remembered running to him, she remembered Brandon calming her and then….everything went dark, she remembered nothing after that just she drifted into unconsciousness. She needs to meet her father. She needed to know if he was fine or not. She got up, stood and roamed her hands around her in search of some support. She couldn't find anything. She stumbled and fell.
Respect is a vital component of a healthy relationship. Partners may argue and disagree, but they should still maintain respect for one another. When someone disregards or belittles their partner’s feelings, interests, opinions, or beliefs, then the relationship will suffer as a result. Early in your relationship, you should have an honest conversation about respect and what it means to you and your partner. Beyond the basic levels of respect, you may have different definitions of what it means and what respectful behaviour looks like. But here, In Brandon and Claire's marriage, they didn't have the basic factor of any relation. He is binding her into a marriage that is based on only lies and a bed of fake surroundings. He created a world for her where he saved her and her family like a good person, l
It’s natural to bring your fears and negative experiences to a new relationship; after all, it’s a survival mechanism to prevent getting your heart broken again. But even if old fears and insecurities may prevent heartbreak, they can also prevent you from truly being happy in a new relationship. For example, if a past partner was unfaithful, don’t distrust your new partner just because of what an ex-relationship was like. Focus on the qualities that make your new partner different. If they’re trustworthy enough to date, that means you should trust them. Those were the words of Claire's father when they were walking some days before, after their dinner. After whatever happened with Jason, Claire has turned cold-hearted towards any relation and marriage. They used to talk to her, but she was not ready for any of this. It was not because she was in love with J
Brandon entered his office which he had made in his house. It was a large room, one portion was like a library filled with so many books, his center table, with his huge bossy chair. He opened his jacket and threw it on the couch in the corner of the room. He sat on his chair, to listen to some work required details from Fred and one of his men who were already present there They were just waiting for him to report him about the work he gave them.He gestured to Fred to continue, he nodded keeping his hands on his back."I have my men still watching over Brown's. Everything is under control." He informed him. As he has ordered them to always have a look at them, and right now they are in hospital. They also need his support, now they are his relatives, his wife's family. It's his responsibility to look after them.
Claire's breath got heavy and her heart got filled with fear and discomfort. She tried to push him, but he was so engrossed in his love that has turned into lust now, he couldn't sense her discomfort.Soon he felt her sobbing, which alarmed him. He stopped suddenly. He looked down, and saw her eyes tightly closed, her pale face which was not as happy and shining as before. Instead, it was all filled with fear…..fear for him.He has been heard by all.Even her family heard him now.He knows no one loves him, they all just fear him. By passing the time, he started to enjoy the fear they had in their eyes for him. But somewhere in his heart, he has craved that kind of pure love.
Love is a set of emotions and behaviors characterized by intimacy, passion, and commitment. It involves care, closeness, protectiveness, attraction, affection, and trust. Love can vary in intensity and can change over time. It is associated with a range of positive emotions, including happiness, excitement, life satisfaction, and euphoria, but it can also result in negative emotions such as jealousy and stress.Often, we spend our time worrying about what our partner feels toward us or how the relationship looks from the outside. Even though it feels good to be loved by someone else, each one of us can only really feel our loving feelings for another person and not that person’s feelings for us. In order to connect with and sustain those loving feelings within us, we have to take actions that are loving. Otherwise, we may be living in fantasy.”
Claire came out of her room taking small steps. She was getting bored being in the same room for the last 2 days. Yes, it was her 3rd day today in this house. She has been married to him for the last 3 days and she has talked to him only once yesterday on call and on their first night. And after that he left early for the office and returned back very late.Is this the way they are going to live together? Is it right to leave her like this in the early phase of their new life?Claire's povWhen I woke up this morning, I again felt the same dream of being in my house, with my family. Being around them has always given me a kind of straight to fight my inner battles and my insecurities.
Throughout its history, the Mafia has controlled everything from the street-corner drug trade to the highest levels of government. Its members operate outside the law, yet become accepted and sometimes feared parts of the neighbourhoods and cities they inhabit. Glorified by movies and television, hounded by law enforcement, marked for death by their enemies, these mobsters live violent and often brief lives. The Mafia is, in its own right, a family. To become a family member means to accept secret rituals, complicated rules and tangled webs of loyalty. Those who run afoul of the family risk being ostracized ... and worse. Many mobsters who have turned against the Mafia have met an untimely, often gruesome death. Mafia business deals with many businesses like loans, gambling, drugs, prostitutes, human trafficking, killing and many more.
