Elena’s Point of View

The night air was cool and crisp, the stars scattered like diamonds across the sky. They walked slowly, side by side, their footsteps echoing softly against the quiet campus.

Elena stole a glance at Ren, her heart beating a little faster each time his shoulder brushed hers. There was something about the way he carried himself - calm yet commanding, quiet yet intense - that made her both comfortable and exhilarated in his presence.

When they reached the campus gates, she stopped, turning to face him. Her breath hitched slightly as their eyes met, his gaze warm and unwavering.

“Thank you for tonight, Ren,” she said softly, her lips curving into a small smile. “I had a wonderful time.”

“So did I,” he replied, his voice low and sincere.

For a moment, they stood there, the world around them fading into the background. The quiet hum of the street, the rustle of leaves in the breeze - it all felt distant compared to the magnetic pull between them.

Ren’s Point of ViewRen leaned against the doorframe of Elena’s apartment, watching her laugh softly as she cleared the empty takeout containers from the coffee table. Her movements were effortless, her smile lighting up the room in a way that left him spellbound. His wolf was silent, for once not pacing or growling. Instead, it purred in satisfaction, its voice warm and approving in his mind. Finally. You didn’t screw it up.Ren chuckled softly, earning a curious glance from Elena. He shook his head, brushing it off, but his wolf wasn’t wrong. The kiss they’d shared had been everything he didn’t know he’d been waiting for - intense, electric, and utterly consuming. She’s ours, his wolf murmured, its tone dripping with contentment. No more waiting, no more hesitation. She’s meant to be with us.Not yet, Ren reminded it, though the words felt weaker now than they had before.Elena returned to the couch, her smile soft and shy as she sat beside him. “You seem lost in thought,” she said,

Ren’s Point of ViewRen stood at the edge of the pack’s northern border, the cold wind biting against his skin as he surveyed the dense forest beyond. The warriors stationed here had reported movement - a flicker of shadows, the sound of snapping branches - but so far, no concrete threat had emerged. His beta, Kael, approached from the treeline, his expression grim. “Nothing definitive,” Kael said. “Whoever - or whatever - it is, they’re careful. They know how to stay out of sight.”Ren nodded, his jaw tightening. “But they’re close enough to make a statement.”Kael grunted in agreement, his gaze sweeping the horizon. “It’s like they’re testing us, pushing to see how far they can go before we react.”Ren’s wolf growled softly in the back of his mind, restless and uneasy. We’re being watched.“I don’t like it,” Ren admitted, his voice low. “Keep the patrols tight. No one crosses the border without our knowing.”Kael nodded. “Already on it. But there’s something else you need to know.”

  • Alpha and Human Professor   Chapter 20 : Girls’ Night Out

Elena's POVThe soft hum of music filled Elena’s apartment as she set the table, the warm aroma of roasted vegetables and garlic bread wafting from the kitchen. Saturday nights were rare for her and Sara—time off from work was often fleeting, and they usually spent it catching up on rest or errands. But tonight was different. They had promised each other a proper night of good food, laughter, and a few drinks in town.Elena smoothed her blouse and glanced at the clock. Sara was always punctual, and right on cue, there was a knock at the door.“El!” Sara’s cheerful voice called as Elena opened the door. “I brought wine and my charming presence. You’re welcome.”Elena laughed, stepping aside to let her in. “Perfect timing. Dinner’s almost ready.”Sara breezed into the kitchen, setting the bottle of wine on the counter and eyeing the spread on the table. “Look at you, going all out. Is this for me, or are you practicing for someone special?”Elena rolled her eyes, though a faint blush cr

Elena' s POV The cool night air wrapped around Elena and Sara as they stepped out of the bar, the echo of laughter and music fading behind them. Elena’s cheeks were warm from the cocktails, her spirits lifted by the evening spent with her best friend.“I’m telling you,” Sara said, waving her hands animatedly as they walked down the cobblestone street. “Ben’s going to ask me out. It’s just a matter of time.”Elena chuckled, her own thoughts drifting to Ren. She hadn’t heard from him since their date, but she wasn’t worried. Something about the connection they shared made her feel certain that he’d reach out soon. The sound of distant shouts snapped her out of her reverie. She stopped mid-step, her brow furrowing as she turned toward the noise.“Did you hear that?” she asked, her voice cautious.Sara paused, tilting her head. “Yeah… it sounded like-”A scream cut through the night, sharp and bloodcurdling. Both women froze, their eyes wide. Elena’s Point of ViewThe night seemed endless as Elena and Sara ran through the streets, the chaos of the wolf attack still ringing in their ears. Every shadow felt alive, every distant sound a potential threat. Ren moved silently beside them, his massive wolf form a protective shadow, keeping pace with ease.By the time they reached Elena’s house, her lungs burned, and her heart was pounding. Sara practically threw herself through the door, slamming it shut and locking it behind them.“What the hell was that?” Sara yelled, her voice trembling as she spun to face Elena. Her wide eyes darted around the room, as if expecting another wolf to burst through the windows at any moment.Elena leaned against the wall, trying to catch her breath. Her mind was spinning, but a strange calm had settled over her, like a storm she couldn’t quite explain. “I don’t know,” she lied, her voice quieter than she expected.Sara’s hands shook as she clutched the doorknob. “Wolves? Elena’s Point of ViewRen raised an eyebrow at Sara’s outburst, clearly amused, but he didn’t take the bait. Instead, he turned to Elena, his expression shifting to something more serious - something that made her chest tighten.“You’re safe for now,” he said, his voice steady but tinged with concern. “But it won’t stay that way. You need to pack a bag - essentials for the next week. You’re coming with me.”Elena blinked, her heart skipping a beat. “What? Why?”“Because it’s not safe here,” Ren said, his tone firm. “Not after what happened tonight. If those wolves come back - and they might - I need to know you’re protected. My house is secure. You’ll be safe there.”Sara, still standing near the door, looked between them, her eyes wide. “Wait, hold on. You’re just going to leave? Like, right now?”Ren turned to her, his expression softening slightly. “You can come with us if you want. It’s your choice. But if you stay here, you need to be with your family. You look like a goddess, and I refuse to let anything mess that up.”Elena laughed nervously, her hands brushing over the smooth fabric of her dress. “I can’t believe this is happening.”Sara stepped back, her expression softening. “Believe it. Around them, the elders and key members of the pack leaned in, their expressions a mixture of curiosity and excitement.Elder Maren was the first to speak, her sharp eyes flicking between Elena and Ren. “Alpha, Luna,” she began, her tone formal. “We understand you have an announcement to make.”Ren glanced at Elena, his golden eyes softening before he turned his attention back to the council. “We do,” he said firmly. “Elena and I have decided to marry.”A ripple of approval swept through the room, though Maren’s brow furrowed slightly. “A momentous occasion,” she said. “But I trust you’ve considered the significance of this union for the pack?”Elena straightened, meeting Maren’s gaze with calm determination. “We have,” she said. “This isn’t just about us - it’s about the pack. Elena’s Point of ViewThe pack house was unusually quiet that evening, the faint rustle of the forest outside the only sound breaking the stillness. After the emotional weight of the truce negotiations and the constant tension of the past weeks, the calm felt almost surreal.Elena sat on the edge of the balcony attached to their quarters, her legs swinging over the edge as she gazed at the stars. The cool breeze carried the scent of pine and earth, soothing her frayed nerves.Kaia stirred gently in her mind. It feels good, doesn’t it? A moment to breathe.“It does,” Elena murmured, her lips curving into a soft smile.Behind her, she heard the faint sound of footsteps. She turned to see Ren stepping onto the balcony, his golden eyes catching the starlight. He wore a simple white shirt and dark slacks, his hair slightly tousled, giving him an effortlessly handsome look.“You’re going to freeze out here,” Ren said, his voice warm as he approached.Elena shrugged, her smile widening. “The

Elena’s Point of ViewThe air in the pack house war room was tense with anticipation as Elena paced back and forth, her mind racing with the implications of the conversation she was about to have. The battle against the rogues had forged an uneasy alliance with the humans, but now came the harder part - turning that fragile understanding into something permanent.Ren stood near the map-covered table, his golden eyes following Elena’s movements. “You’re going to wear a hole in the floor,” he said softly, a faint smirk tugging at his lips. She stopped mid-step, giving him a half-hearted glare. “I’m just trying to figure out how to approach this. One wrong word, and the whole thing could fall apart.”Ren crossed the room in a few long strides, placing a steadying hand on her shoulder. “You’ve already proven yourself to them, Elena. They saw you fight for their safety. That means something.”Kael and Mirella entered the room, their expressions serious. “The mayor just called,” Kael said.

Elena’s Point of ViewThe morning air was crisp as Elena stood on the balcony overlooking the bustling courtyard below. Warriors moved with purpose, preparing for the day’s patrols and reinforcing the borders. Despite the renewed energy in the pack, Elena couldn’t shake the sense of urgency pressing down on her.Kaia stirred in her mind, steady and resolute. The forest has accepted us, but that won’t stop the threats circling at its edges. We need to act before they strike again.Elena nodded to herself, her gaze hardening. “We’ll find the rogues,” she murmured. “And we’ll finish this.”A knock at the door drew her attention, and Ren stepped out onto the balcony, his golden eyes bright with determination.“Elena,” he said, his voice low. “Kael’s waiting in the war room. He has a report from the patrols.”Elena turned to him, her expression firm. “Good. It’s time we take the fight to the rogues. Elena’s Point of ViewThe return to the pack house was quiet but tense, the weight of the Sacred Grove’s trials still heavy in Elena’s mind. Each step through the forest felt lighter than the last, as though the trees themselves were parting in reverence to the blessing that had been bestowed.Ren walked close to her, his arm brushing against hers occasionally, as though grounding himself in her presence. Kael and Mirella followed a short distance behind, their sharp eyes scanning the shadows for any sign of danger.Kaia stirred in Elena’s mind, her voice calm but strong. The forest accepts us now. Elena POVThe Sacred Grove seemed to pulse with its own heartbeat, the energy thick and suffocating as the ground beneath Elena’s feet began to shift again. The moss glowed brighter, almost blinding, and the air vibrated with an unseen force.“Elena,” Ren called, stepping toward her, but an invisible barrier shimmered into existence, cutting him off.“Stay back!” Elena shouted, her voice trembling but resolute. “This is my trial.”Ren’s golden eyes burned with worry as he slammed his fist against the barrier. “Elena, don’t...”“I have to,” she said firmly, turning to face the altar as a strange wind whipped through the clearing. The branches above creaked and groaned as they parted further, letting beams of silver light from the unseen moon illuminate the altar. Elena’s Point of ViewThe forest was still as Elena stepped into its shadowy embrace, her heart pounding with a mixture of determination and unease. Ren walked beside her, his presence a steady anchor as they made their way toward the Sacred Grove. Behind them, Kael and Mirella flanked their path, their sharp eyes scanning the dense undergrowth for any sign of danger. The ancient texts and the Luna’s journal had painted a vivid picture of the Grove - a place where the forest’s magic was at its strongest, where the Moon Goddess’s presence could be felt in every whisper of the wind and rustle of the leaves. But no one had been there in decades, perhaps longer.Kaia stirred in Elena’s mind, her voice calm but firm. This is where we’re meant to be. His presence was steadying, though she could feel the tension radiating from him.“This ritual,” Elena said, breaking the silence. “If it’s as powerful as the texts suggest, it could save us. But I don’t want to risk anything without knowing exactly what we’re dealing with.”Ren nodded, his voice low. “And you’re sure the texts here will have what we need?”“They have to,” Elena said firmly. “The old packs recorded everything - rituals, prophecies, even alliances.
