Chapter 2

As she stepped into the sitting room, she was welcomed with a ferocious stare and glare. The intense stare coming from her father was capable of making her miss her steps.

 Fredrick already detailed her ordeal with a stranger to her family, Fredrick's Family was there too, all seated in the living room waiting for her return. 

“You ungrateful thing” Mr. Albani screamed, ‘This is how you intend to repay me after all these years, you took my wife from me and now you have vowed to tarnish my reputation in this town, you devilish daughter'. 

How could you let this happen pointing his phone at her which displayed the event that happened the previous night?

“Have you no shame” Gabriella’s stepmother Rita said, continuing from where Mr Albani stopped, this would have been all over the Internet if my lovely husband hadn't Called in some people to prevent that from happening, 

she pretended like she knew nothing about it while she planned everything with her daughter Gia,

She continued, you are married to a well-known respectable Family in town how can you be so loose at this time, am so ashamed of you,

Hiding her excitement behind her evil looks,

Gabriella's eyes welled up as she was about to speak tears ran down her cheeks she was terrified and shaking at the same time,

Dad, I don't know… Shut up you ungrateful child do you know the implications of this you have done,

This marriage was not what she wanted, her dream was to be a fashion designer and she has worked hard to make sure her dreams come through, after studying business administration at a prestigious university she graduated with a good result, just as her father wanted, in the hope he would enroll her in a fashion school afterward as he promised her but rather arranged a marriage for her with a business partners son,

Gabriella fought her father but he was bent on marrying her off to secure a business deal with Mr. Barbero's company, Gabriella had no choice but to accept the marriage proposal. 

A few days ago she caught her husband and her sister in bed, she was about to expose them and end her miserable marriage but ended up being disgraced instead.

She can't believe she was the one being humiliated, she lost all confidence and boldness to defend herself or call out Fredrick and Gia for betraying her.

‘Mr. Albani is this the kind of girl my son got married to’, Mrs Rosa Barbero Frederick’s mom said in a very harsh tone.

Mr and Mrs Barbero we are on top of the matter and I assure you that I am doing all I can to get to the bottom of this Mr Albani said! 

Just 2 months after your wedding and you are already sleeping around with different men in a hotel filming it for the public to see, Mrs. Barbero screened in a harsh tone.

Mr Albani, you are my good friend and we have come a very long way, but the implications of what your daughter has done are too much to be ignored, Mr. Barbero Frederick’s Father spoke in his huge tone, 

I Can not sit and watch your daughter spoil my Good name in society. I will not let it happen,

His anger is twice that of his wife, but he will let his son make that decision before ending his partnership with the Albani family. 

Gabriella bowed her head and couldn't say anything anymore than weep profusely,

Everyone, can you give me a minute to talk to Gabriella please, Fredrick said calmly

Everyone left his house and he was left with Gabriella, just after they left, Gia walked in and kissed Fredrick on his lips. 

Fredrick has a tall and muscular physique, his appearance screened money and pride, and his fashion sense and styling were top-tier.  

I told you, you are no match for me. All you had to do was shut your mouth and act like the obedient silly girl that you are but you decided to play the hero. Fredrick said in a calm but annoying tone.

Gabriella bit her lower lips trying so hard to hold herself from crying, but her emotions got the best of her and she cried out loud, 

Fredrick looked at Gia and smiled, Now we can be together honey. He kissed her in front of Gabriella passionately with his hand rubbing all over Gia's slender body, caressing her and his lips deeply buried in Gia's mouth, they both held each other tightly while Fredrick's hands went down to her back and he pressed her buttocks, and they both laughed.

Gabriella's memory came back to her, and she remembered she was about to expose them before she ended up in the room not knowing what exactly happened to her, 

You two did this to me!! Gabriella screamed while tears gushed down her eyes, what kind of man are you, I can still expose you too you know. 

Fredrick turned and looked at her from head to toe and said “Don't flatter yourself Gaby everything you did with that stranger is recorded here" No one will believe you he showed her the camera and Gabriella was dumbfounded again.

What did I do to deserve this, Gia you are my sister why would you betray me like this? What have I done to you? Gabriella couldn't stand the sight of them so she left them and went to her room while they both continued with their romance.

Fred never knew much about Gabriella; he only got engaged to her to please his family and have a good business relationship with the Albani. He only got to see Gaby whenever it was a family gathering and nothing more, 

Gia always flirted with him, knowing fully well he was married to her sister, but they never respected that fact and had secret affairs with each other. He gave Gabriella a cold attitude which made Gaby distance herself from him. 

They lived in the same house like strangers, He married her just to please his parents. Gabriella has a calm, lovely personality, she is very obedient and humble even though she is the first daughter and heir to the Albani group.

Her father never cared about her, He only took care of Rita and Gia' and only needed Gabriella to run errands when it had to do with his company and business.

Gabriella worked for her father for years in his company as his secretary and sometimes personal assistant, he treated her like a nobody, and people hardly recognized her as his daughter. Only people who have worked for years in the company know her as his Daughter. 

While Gia was treated like a princess. She didn't care about the running of the business, she always had her way and did whatever she wanted, 

Gabriella was completely neglected, Which made her Father marry her off at a slight of a business opportunity with the Barbero, who was looking for a wife for their son.
