Erebus had not been responding to anything Allura had to say in the next week.
All days and nights of that 7 days, Allura had been trying to talk to Erebus. She brought up how the members of Dip Patronus that the Queen had captured; she talked about how Charlie disappeared with Kitty but the Queen didn't seem to care; she brought up Perses's visiting of Uranus.
Nothing.
Nothing was getting Erebus's attention.
It was almost like he already died and gone with his soul, and it was only his body, standing there taking food in without caring even a bit about what was put in his mouth.
Should he just give up?
The question "What am I doing?" was all that occupied Erebus's mind at that time, and he couldn't even focus his mind on anything even in he tried to.
He tried to save Perses by not killing him and putting him in prison, but Perses was now still under the control of the Queen and there was no way for him to break the spell for Perses;<
