The excited mumble among the "guests" there that night was actually genuine. Guess they weren't all puppets of the Queen, but it didn't make it easier for Erebus to get out of this dilemma.

"I'll leave the stage to them now," The Queen stepped aside, "And hopefully that they would like my gift to this special day."

Charlie took a step up to the edge of the stage with Kitty's hand his, and he turned Kitty asking: "Would you like to tell us what happened on that day?"

Kitty hesitated for a while, and then turned to point at Perses: "I saw him killing all the village people."

A quirky smile craw on Perses's lips as his vicious eyes fixed on Erebus, filled with hunger as if a predator spotted a prey.

Erebus had already come to the edge of the stage. He stood under there, looking up to Kitty without paying any attention to Perses.

But Kitty didn't turn to look at him.

"That's right." Charlie said. The Queen was already seated at this point
