Christine wanted to speak more, but she trailed off when she heard an impatient knock on the door. She stood up and opened the door and was greeted by Cassie's innocent beautiful smile.

"Are you ready for your bedtime story, sweetie?" Christine adoringly looked down at Cassie's upturned face looking at her with her twinkling bluish - gray eyes while she ruffled her daughter's soft and straight hair.

"Mommy, daddy's butler brought daddy's clothes. I told my nanny to put them in your room, " Cassie couldn't contain her joy and squealed.

Christine wanted to pull her hair and cry. She was remorseful that she asked Marty to stay.

Christine glared at Cassie's nanny, "Take Mr Jacobs clothes in the guest room." she said.

Cassie held her nanny's hand and shook her head disapprovingly while she looked at Christine. "Mommy, daddy will stay in your room. A daddy and a mommy should share one room, shouldn't they?"

Christine wanted to explain that only husbands and wives shared the same room,
