Shailene's POV

"This are the tickets." Clark put it in my front.

I arched a brow. "Why we need to book a flight if we can just use our private jet?" I asked.

Yeah, I have private jet. It's a Dad's gift when I graduated. I rarely use it because I'm too busy in our company.

"Do you have one?" he asked.

I smiled confidently. "Yeah, I have." I said before I went in my room. Leaving him alone.

I finished my pending works before I started planning for a new business. Business that I own not from my father. I don't know how to start it without any people in my side but I don't want a help from my father. I just want to build this alone or with Selena.

My phone beep and I immediately check it. It's a message from unknown number.

Unknown number:

It's your housemate. I got your number from your friend. I didn't asked this. She just chatted it to me. What are you doing rn?

My blood boiled as I read his message. What the hell, Selena? Why is she's doing this to me?

My phone beep again for a message and now it's Selena.

Selena:

Sorry, just helping you. Make him fall in love because that's what tita's want. Support for ShaiLark, KenZo.

I closed my eyes as I saw her message. She's like a high school who's supporting her friend to confess in her crush. I shook my head before I save Clark's number. I aslo typed a reply for him.

Me:

Hey, just thinking and planning for an own business. Oh! Can you help me? Are you willing to be my business partner?

I think he's the best with this. In the young age, he has a lot of businesses. He's genius with this. Hindi ako nagkamali ng nilapitan na tao.

After a while, I heard a knock in my door. I opened it and I saw him. He's with his laptop in his hand, nakapagpalit na rin siya ng damit. Now, he just wearing a short and a simpler gray t-shirt. I think, he's really going to help me or maybe he wants to work here.

I arched a brow while looking at him. He smiled at me. "You know, I want to help you in your business. Can I come?" he spoke.

"Oh! Sure!" I chuckled and welcomed him in my room.

He sat in my bed before he put his laptop next in mine. I sat next in him, in front of my laptop.

Tumikim siya at tumingin sa akin, I also faced him. "So, why are you planning to build your own business? You already have a business from your father. It will just stress you out." he spoke.

"I just don't want to get old without building anything. I can't say that I'm successful by just being owner of my father's company." I responded.

He smiled. "That's also my reasoned too when I started building my own business. What business do you want?" he asked.

I badly want to build my own resort since then with a lot of restaurants and a good hotels where the tourists can check in. I want to build an five-star hotel.

"I want to build a resort and I need your help. I know that you are good in this that's why I replied that to you. You are in a good timing." I said.

He opened a file in his laptop. It's a file that has a lot of an autocad artworks. It's a project plan for a resort.

I don't know what is he's course is but this is all looks beautiful. He's good a architect if he is or an engineer?

"That looks beautiful. Is that your autocad?" I asked.

He nodded. "Yeah, this is mine. This is my project back in college. I'm Civil Engineer but I focus in my businesses." he said.

That's was really surprising. I really didn't expect that. I thought he's graduated in a business course because he's really good in business.

"Where did you graduated?" I asked.

"Ateneo. Summa Cum Laude." he proudly said.

I graduated at La Salle and marami akong kilala sa Ateneo lalo na at marami ring akong kaibigan na may boyfriends, girlfriends or flings na Atenean. I've been in a relationships but not serious though. They are all La Sallian. No touching a head kaya rin sila nagtatagalan sa akin. I am boring partner daw that's what they said.

"You passed the board, right?" I asked.

"Yeah and I top. The first one." he responded.

Oh! I knew it. Siya 'yung kinaiinisan ni Ashton back then. Ashton is an Engineer now and top two lang siya sa board exam. Galit na galit din siya sa top one. Sobrang yabang daw and that's Clark.

"Oh! I know you na but sorry. I'm not really interested kasi sa mga tao dati e. I am friendly din naman pero pili lang." I said.

Bumaling siya sa laptop niya and, "Is this what you want? I have some more here." he said before he showed more to me.

Marami pala talaga siyang arts sa laptop niya which is I really don't expect it. We also started planning for some materials. He's an engineer naman kaya okay lang na siya na lang ang mag-plano nito but in interior designs. I can get an architect naman.

"Ready na ba lahat ng pera mo?" he asked.

I nodded. May pera naman ako not only from dad but from my hardworks in our company noong child of the owner pa lang ako. I'm just working too and Dad gave me a salary kaya naka-ipon din ako and sometimes. He's giving me a money for vacation pero iniipon ko na lang din. I am not like Selena who's always out of the country.

Days past and weekend came. Our jet is ready kaya 'yun na lang ang sinakyan namin. We arrived safe at maaga rin but not like kung sasakay pa kami sa pina-book ni Daddy.

The staffs treat us really good but the problem is ang napabook ni Daddy na room is one bed only. For honeymoon talaga na room.

"How can we sleep here?" Clark's asked.

It's okay if we sleep in a bed. Wala naman siyang gagawin kaya it's okay for me. I just enjoyed surveying the room. It will give me an idea for my hotel rooms.

"We can sleep together here. I'm okay with it." I said.

Clark's POV

Crizza keeps texting me. Dapat daw ay pag-uwi namin ay may baby na in Shai's belly. I was too irritated but I know that I need to be matured here. Dapat kong intindihin lahat ang situation namin.

"Let's talking about our business." I said.

She nodded.

"If we break up after six months. Let's keep communicating for this business. Let's be professional." I said.

She smiled. "Yeah, that really is. There's no problem in that." she replied.

We talked a lot for our business. I also refer her my friend to be our architect. I know that there's will a lot of businessmen that will have interest to invest in our business because our family name is popular.

"What will be the name of our resort?" I asked.

I will let her decide this because this is what she want. I'm just here to help her.

"Aquino-Gonzales hotel and resort. That's good though. Our last name is popular and even if we will break up they will just see this as our business. A friendly business. We will remain friends, right? After this." she stopped. "Or are we friends ba?" she asked.

I looked away. She seems wants me to answer it honestly. I know that she really wants to follow his Dad but I don't think remaining friends after this will be good. I know that her parents will really get mad at me or maybe my parents will get mad to her. I really don't know how to make issue in this relationship. Maybe her, I think she's also thinking about that now.

"Yes, we will remain friends for this business." I responded to less hurt her. It's for the business din naman.

After we talked about our business. We went out to eat together. There's a lot of our family friend's here. And I was surprised that they know Shailene and Shailene didn't know them. She's really shy and didn't know anything. I wonder if she's going to some parties. Maybe she is but not really know some people around.
