Book 4: Seven

Gary parked in front of the garage and wanted to get down and open the backseat door for Michael when he heard, “don’t worry, I will get it. Go home.”

“You okay, Michael?” Gary asked, he knew he was not okay and for the first time since they became friends, he was lacking on what to say to him.

“Yeah, why wouldn’t I be?” Michael asked, opening the door and climbing out of the car. Gary glanced at the envelop lying on the seat and sighed, Michael had refused to show him what was inside but he knew whatever it was, was not something good and he just hoped that it had nothing to do with Sasha.

Michael picked up the enveloped and put it in his briefcase before walking over to the house. He climbed the stairs on the porch and as Gary turned the car, he honked at him but he didn’t glance back and Gary had to sigh and drive off. Placing his hand on the door knob, Michael closed his eyes and heaved a deep sigh before turning the knob. He pushed open the door to see Chris sitting on the dolphi
