Chapter Thirty

Jonathan Leo sat in the dimly lit clubhouse, his disguise doing little to ease his growing frustration. Ever since he discovered that Sasha worked at one of his family's establishments, he had been coming here for five days straight. Yet, despite his persistence, he had to lay eyes on her. The constant noise, the flashing lights, and the smell of alcohol were starting to wear on him, but he refused to give up. He needed to find Sasha.

He pulled his mask tighter over his nose and adjusted his sunglasses before heading to the bar. His appearance—complete with a baseball cap pulled low over his face—was far from the polished and glamorous image the public was used to seeing. He couldn't afford to draw any attention to himself, not in a place like this.

As he approached the bar, he caught the barman's eye. "Hey there," Jonathan called out, his voice muffled slightly by the mask. "I'm looking for my friend Sasha. Do you know if she's coming in today?"

The barman eyed him suspiciously,
