Chapter 294 The Bet

Lucy looked at Julian in shock. She could not believe that he would be so cruel to her when she had already humbled herself to him.

"Why? Tell me, am I not good enough? How is Nancy better than me?" asked Lucy.

Julian could not be bothered to list all the ways in which Nancy was better than Lucy, so he simply said, "She's better than you in every way!"

Lucy was really shocked by what he said. What was even more shocking was that she was standing naked in front of him, and still, Julian did not want her!

He had no intention of staying home that night, so he left the room, ignoring Lucy.

After leaving, Julian heard the sound of things being smashed in the bedroom behind him and knew that Lucy was going crazy again, so he shook his head silently.
