Chapter 229 We Didn't Touch Her

The truck had been on the road for the entire day with the women inside packed together like cargo. They had no way of knowing whether it was night or day saved for the tiny window measuring less than eight inches on top of the shipping container.

When evening came, the truck finally came to a stop. Immediately afterward, the door of the shipping container was opened, and two men came in carrying four bags of food for the women inside.

Each woman was only provided with one meal a day. This was so the men could control the women with their hunger. They knew the women would do anything the men told them to once they reached their destination in order not to starve.

Nancy would never have believed that in that day and age, there would still be such inhumane human traffickers if she had not seen it with her own eyes.
