Leah We didn’t see Elyse or Demitri for a full day after that. It was interesting to watch the dynamic of our group change though. When it was just Renee pregnant, the situation was new and manageable. But, now with Elyse pregnant too, I can see some of my friends' demeanor change when the subject is brought up, especially Jessica, like it’s a really big deal. It seems like the whole pack is completely focused on starting our next generation as if this impending war with Max is just going to wait for us to be ready. Leah We all had our jobs to do and we did what we do best, divide and conquer. By noon we had the whole pack gathered behind the main packhouse. We left the children with trusted and loyal omegas in the territory packhouses. As a group we are standing on the back porch of the packhouse which is slightly elevated so the whole pack can see us. As I look around I know not everyone is gathered, but we can only do so much and I don’t want to compel people to show up. We will make note of who is missing and they will be the first on the list to be questioned or detained if something goes wrong.
