Chapter 3

"What?! What is he doing here?" I ask her immediately, I clutch my son's clothes as I embrace him tighter.

Manang Belen looked at me, hesitating if sasabihin niya ba sa akin, in terms of Lev's presence.

I understood what her eyes has been meaning to tell me.

"Claudia!" Tawag ko sa Yaya ni Lev, who immediately came running with sweats in here forehead.

"Y... Yes, Ma'am?"

"Watch over my son. I have matters to deal with outside, make sure that he will not be exposed outside. Understand?" I told her as I unclasped my grasp from my son, who was no looking at me with confusion.

His face were red but the curiousness and confusion were still there.

"Hon, Mom has matters to settle so I want you to stay here with your Ate Claudia and not go out, Okay?" Ani ko sa kanya before I kissed his cheeks and turns to the door to leave. "Grandma and Grandpa will be here, so stay put, m'kay?"

I told him and turns to leave, but before I do so, I saw my son raises his palm and waves at me, with a smile but his eyes were flushed with worry.

My heart melted as I flew him a kiss.

"Bye, Mom. Take care."

I flashed him my sweetest smile before leaving, but when I was down walking the mansion's hall, I gritted my teeth, losing my smile.

'Let me deal with that bastard! The audacity to try to step in my territory!

"Madam, He's beyond the gates." balita sa akin ni Manuel, Dad's secretary.

I nodded at him as I rode the car to the estate's entrance.

I know our estate is grand but with the rage on me, I totally forget how far was it for me to arrive at the gates.

" Fucking hell! Let me see her! Bullshit! Barbara! I know you're here! "

At hindi pa nga ako nakakalabas sa kotse ay rinig na rinig ko na ang nakakarindi subali't baritonong sigaw ni Keith.

He was kneeling and was being restrained by Dad's body guard.

Speaking of Dad, He was standing Infront of Keith like a soldier while mom was sitting in a portable chair while fanning herself.

Did she just come here to watch a drama?

"Tito, Where is Barbara? I know she's here! I know she's home!" sigaw ni Keith habang tinitingala si Dad.

His face was miserable, with disheveled hair and ragged polo. You wouldn't even know it was The Keith of VREnterprise.

"God, Anong hangin ba ang tumangay Sayo at pumunta ka dito para maghanap ng gulo?" Bungad ko.

Keith looks at me but immediately grunted when I think the guard tightens his restraints on him.

Dad turns to me and Mom's eyes widens and with that look, I know what it means, 'Here comes the leading lady'. Guess she's really enjoying this, Huh?

I give her a smugged look as I turn to Dad.

"Dad. I'll get it from here, Can you go back to the mansion with mom?" I said with the take-care-of-you-know-who look.

Mom sighed and claps her hands twice, in just a minute there are now two maids who folded her portable chair and arranged it at the cars compartment.

"Ah.... I wanted to see the drama and all..."

"Breeiana!" Dad stop Mom's supposed complains as he smiled at me and whispers. "If that bastard ever hurt you, just order the guards. I'll take care of your mother."

He then winked at me before he carry's my Mommy like a bag of sack, and enters the car, leaving our sight.

Hindi naman nagreklamo si Mom, showing kay Dad lang talaga siya nakikinig.

Now,

It's just me, this bastard, six of Dad's most skilled guards and three maids for witness purposes.

"The hell are you doing here?"

He look at me, making sure It was really me, for some reasons he reminds me of Lev, he blinks his eyes twice bago siya nagpumiglas sa mga guwardya, I then signalled them to let him go.

He got up bago pinagpag ang polo at pantalon niyang puno ng  marka ng sapatos, judging from the size.... it's dad's.

"Where is our child?"

I frowned, Trying to hide my surprise expression.

"What do you mean?"

He snickered as he look at me, he licked his lip.

I felt a slight throb down my stomach but I ignored it.

"Oh, don't give me that,Barbara. I know you fucking know what I mean. Where is our child? " He said, emphasizing his last sentences.

I tried my best to keep my demeanor, as I walked near him. I acted tough, to maybe make him vulnerable and to let him believe a lie.

"Do you perhaps means the child whom you ask me to abort?" I said with a rather demonic tone.

I felt him stiffen, I backed down to see his petrified face but it .... wasn't what I expected it to be, he was.... crying, His face was dumb, and tears were falling in his eyes like a waterfall.

What a crybaby.

"Do... Do you mean... Our .. Our child is..?" ang boses niya any para ng bulong, parang pinipigilan niyang mabasag ang boses niya sa harapan ko.

"Dead" I told him mercilessly.

Even if I have to lie just to keep my son, Even if I have to be selfish to keep him for me, then I would.

Napaluhod si Keith sa mismong harapan ko before he broked into a silent cry.

Trust me, nadadala ako. I never once have a thought of revenge, I never vowed to do it.

Revenge aren't just for the weak, its for the people who wants to reclaim their honor after being crumbled by the people who stepped on them.

But I never did think of it.

It's for the peace of mind and the safetyness of my son.

"Go home." I told him in a low voice, but he didn't budge.

"Hey!" I called unto him but he didn't even grunted or something.

I got annoyed and afraid that Lev would be suspicious of me taking too long, I signalled the guards to drag him out.

Hindi man lang siya pumiglas he just let the guards drag him, but he looked at me with dead eyes.

"Tell me, Barbara. How.... How did you get over our child's death?"

His question froze me.

What should I answer?

"I.... Didn't" 'cause our child never died, I almost slapped my self when I stuttered in my early sentence.

He look so tired but he smiled, it looks like a demon's smile though.

Can't believe I fell for him with that kind of smile.

"Oh... I see..." tugon niya as he lowered his head, The guards stop dragging him when they've notice us talking.

I was about to leave when I hear him shout.

"Then would you mind....."

I turned to him.

"Then would you mind having a second child with me to appease our eldest? "

I felt my jaw dropped and the people around us dumbfounded by what he said.
