Feng Shao squinted his eyes open only to see that he was somehow put in a room. Although the room was a little cold he liked how it looked. It was decorated with lanterns and pink cloths fluttering with the breeze. The wooden table and chairs were by the window. There was also a pair of screens at one side which gave life to the room. Poems were also hang on the walls making the room look more scholarly and beautiful. Especially the immaculate peach blossoms drawn on the background. Even the bamboo leaves looked breathtaking as well.

The white cotton blanket covering half of his body felt very warm. He pushed it aside and moved so to get off the bed. His feet came in contact with the ceramic tiles, and boy did it feel cold. He immediately reached for his shoes and hurriedly put them on. Just when he was about to stand up to get out of the room, he heard;

"You're awake, Master asked you to join them in the hall." Feng Shao jerked up and faced the door and saw the familiar boy leaning on the wall while crossing his arms. He was looking at him, his deep eyes showing no interest at all. He had come to hate this boy. He was so annoying.

"Master? Who's that?" He wondered not knowing that he had said it aloud.

"You will know when you get there." The boy replied showing a little attitude. He walked out of the room not bothering to wait for him.

Feng Shao huffed and followed him to the hall. He could see beautiful flower beds on the sides of the pathways which he was walking on. He could also smell the calming fragrance. And some medicinal herbs used merely for the purpose of decoration.

The sun was shining so brightly with a wonderful breeze accompanying the heat that was making multiple hazes on the soils. It was a wonder as to why those flowers were thriving nicely in such a weather.

"We're here." The little boy announced in a bored tone.

The older one looked up to see a wooden plaque with beautiful calligraphy written ' Yuan Hall'. They both entered, one after the other.

"Master, I have brought him to you." Feng Shao peeked from behind the young boy's shoulder only to see a slander hand indicating for them to enter. When he was walking inside he caught a glimpse of Lui Xian and decided to sit further away from him.

"I would like to welcome you and I want to apologise for the trouble we have caused you." Feng Shao raised his head after hearing a feminine voice from the person adorned in black with a veil covering the face.

"'I had thought his Master was a male." Feng Shao commented in a low whisper barely heard by anyone.

"Apology accepted, but, do you mind if I ask something." He continued on, many questions burning in his mind.

"Please go on."

Feng Shao didn't hesitate and asked, "Where is this place? And also were you the one who brought us here?"

"No, I am afraid not. My apprentice found you straying at the boundary and attacked you for which I regret."

After hearing quite a disappointing reply Feng Shao picked up his tea and took a sip. All he wanted was to leave the place and return home. And he also had to ditch the man sitting opposite him. He had enough for today.

Suddenly there was a cough at the entrance, and a young man probably in his late twenties with a few strands of braided hair, ran into the hall after hearing that a familiar acquaintance had graced the small kingdom with his visit.

"Xian! Long time."

Lui Xian had been quiet all this time. He had a cup of tea in his hand which he would here and there take a sip to appease himself. When he heard an excited voice calling for him, he indifferently looked over before turning away and taking another sip.

"Who are you?" He didn't care if he was hurting the other person's feelings at all. He only wanted to go back to Wu Capital. To a place he was comfortable enough to call home.

"Sis he is being cruel to me. .....sob ....sob" Wei Wei felt embarrassed to see her little brother being treated like that but she had nothing to say. She had also been in the same situation. They had been sitting for three hours, and no body had even uttered a single word to each other. Thank heavens Feng Shao rescued her from being bored to death.

"Shush... little brother behave. Master Lui do you mind if you can stay here for a couple of days whilst we look for a way to send you back. Winter is coming soon and it won't be easy finding suitable horses and a carriage for you." She asked while looking at the chinese calendar on one of the walls.

".....don't mind me, I am leaving just after this. I have urgent business to attend to." Lui Xian insisted not wanting to stay a second longer.

"Huh, what business? Would it hurt to stay." Feng Shao could not help but interrupt after seeing that he was being stubborn for no reason. And also he had been acting like a spoilt child since the argument.

Of course, they were enemies but still, he was so confusing.

"..."

Lui Xian glared at him but didn't say anything more. He stood up and went outside. "Is he always like this?" Wei Wei asked feeling a little bit awkward. She had seen that he had some problems but not to this point.

"As far as I have known him yes but not really at the same time. We have only been together for less than a month so I wouldn't be sure."

"Ohh. Nevermind then."

"Little brother, what's wrong? Are you okay?" Wei Wei turned to her little brother who was sulking by her side.

Feng Shao didn't pay heed to any of them, he was looking in the direction Lui Xian had left in and then sighed lowly. He knew that Lui Xian would not be returning and all he could do was wait to for his turn.

After rushing out, Lui Xian looked around and found a path to follow. He didn't need a horse what he needed was to climb up the mountain and exit through that cave he had seen not too far away. He dusted his robes and prepared to leap up and use his flying skills then leave this horrid place.

He breathed in and out and just followed his plan til he was outside. It had started to darken with clouds threatening to bring astounding rain. These clouds had accumulated blocking the sun that had just been shining brightly. He looked up to see drops of rain falling one by one until they increased in number wanting to obstruct him from going from that place but he had to go.

His sword had been taken away and all that remained on him was his clothes worn on his body. He took on a random direction. And all he thought of was his return to his beloved's side.

Lui Xian just sighed seeing his dramatic friend. He had wondered since the first time they met, as to why this prince was still alive. Alive from all the throne rivalry that always occurs in royal lineages, but now he understood. Rushan was too much of an idiot to be considered a rival for the throne. All he did was to run to the Emperor with brotherly love showing in his eyes."Your Highness stop crying. It's only going to be a month away fighting some rascals. You know I will come back." He tried to pacify him feeling really complicated. 'Aren't I the one who is supposed to cry right now? I am being sent to the death's door without even getting a chance to confess my love. All of them made him excited. The unbearable stench was still lingering in the air musking the coldness that was there. Making it even harder for everyone to relax. The snowflakes which had been falling all night, still couldn't cover it all up. It was so intense for first time soldiers, because none of them were able to eat that night. And some couldn't even sleep. They had set up new tents that filled up the whole area. All were white in colour and only the main tent had a purple flag fluttering in

He was carried inside and laid on a bed as one of the soldiers hurried to call a physician. They made sure to have two or more doctors when going to war. In case when they needed one to nurse their men back to health. Upon seeing Lui Xian's face that had become pale whilst he lay flat on the cushions, the physician frowned and hurriedly scooped him up so that he could make Lui Xian stay in a sitting position. He took a needle from his sleeves and performed acupuncture before turning around to the men who were watching everything attentively and asked, "What happened to him? Was he perhaps shot by a poisonous arrow?"The physician conjecture made all the men inside tremble in fear. They

Rushan beamed with happiness, altogether with excitement knowing that he had a chance to get him. He hurriedly got onto his feet and strode to the doors, eager to see him again. "Thank you brother." He waved at the emperor and disappeared before the monarch could say anything in return. He just watched his little brother with a small smile on his lips. He took a sip of his tea, savouring the exquisite taste. Once done, he looked into space as if he was in deep thought. The prince on the other hand was running around the palace path ways, heading to the training area where he assumed he would find him training. Some refreshing breeze graced his cheeks and made his hair dance along with the moving air. The scenery all around him appeared to be surrounded by beautiful cherry blossoms fluttering and emitting a mesmerizing scent. It did not take time for him to reach the training grounds. The following day, the prince got up as early before the rooster crowed. He had black circles around his eyes. His orbs looked very depressed. He was so unkempt. His personal servants were so shocked and embarrased. They prayed secretly in their hearts, begging the heavens so that there hasn't been a single soul that had seen this or else their prince's image would forever be ruined. They got flustered and started running about like headless chickens before the head maid calmed them down and ordered the others to bring warm water from the kitchen and also to prepare for his highness's clothes. In the mean time, she greeted the prince and politely urged him to go behind the screen where there was a beautiful pond with beautiful flowers scattered skillfully on top. "Well then Qi Han, come and inform me when he returns.""Yes, Your Highness." Qi Han answered respectfully. He watched as Rushan turned and walked away, going back to his palace. The little minister then turned back giving the room where Lanzhu lived a last glance before going on his way. On the other side, Rushan rested in his office and waited patiently, while thinking of things he was going to say to him. He had done this many times but he never seemed to get tired of it. Just the thought of telling him how he felt filled his tummy with butterflies. After a moment, then he felt sad for some reason. All he could hold onto was the emotional bond he had achieved through heartfelt words on an ordinary parchment paper. Lui Xian however, never judged his dear companion, for he knew how hard it was to be in a fruitless love. One had to hold onto the hope that perhaps one day he will see my love. One had to dream of a life together, longing and yearning to acquire their coveted wish. He watched as Rushan told him how eager he was to find the person who wrote to him. After the adventurous wedding night, Feng Shao woke up feeling sore all over. His body was littered with vivid love bites and scratch marks. His eyes were shining brightly knowing that he was now Lui Xian's husband. He looked down beside him to see Lui Xian still asleep with a set of his own marks on his chest. The white-haired male stretched his hand and grabbed a handful of his spouse's jet-black hair strands, feeling the soothing texture. His warm eyes landed on his glowing face which was being softened by the morning glow. When he had looked enough, Feng Shao leaned on him and stole a very quick kiss on his lips before getting off the bed and rushing to take a bath behind the screen. When they returned to the restaurant, everyone in their group could see a change in Feng Shao's mood. He had gotten more relaxed and back to normal. A smile couldn't leave his face.
