59: How to Wake an Unconscious Lycan?

Xander is trying to make my heart stop. And that made me think he doesn’t want to kill me. Not by himself at least. He’ll let me do that all by myself while he watches from the sidelines.

Well, he isn’t watching right now.

That annoying voice in my head speaks. Referring to his unconscious form lying beside me. It took a lot of effort to get him off of me.

The man is a heavy load of muscles. And as strong as I thought I was, I couldn’t just push him off me.

One second, he was speaking, the next, his eyes closed and he fell on me. His entire body weight pushed me into the bed. He stole my breath, in a totally different way.

I called his name a few times, thinking it was one of his tricks. But after my breath really started coming out in short gasps and I realized I was losing air. I did what every smart person would do and pushed him, with all my strength. I was lucky he didn’t crush my arms, if he had. Then they’ll probably pick my dead body up whenever he gets up.

It took me
