Cold shivers ran down her spine....
She held her breath still facing the door.
And all of a sudden,,, she was loosing the courage she summoned.
She gulped hard and turned her back.
What Angela saw almost caused her a heart attack.
She saw the little girl on the ground with blood running down her cheeks.
Blood also came out from her nostrils.
"What a scary sight!' Angela mumbled.
"You wanted to speak to me right?' The girl's voice echoed around the room.
Goosebumps ran down Angela's spine.
"Who... Who... Who are... are you?" Angela stuttered
The little girl laughed hysterically scarring the hell out of Angela who shivered in fear.
"Am your roommate Angela" She said as Angela gasped.
"What do you mean roommate?" Angela asked anxiously.
"You are in my room" She said as Angela breathed heavily.
"How did you even get to know my name?" Angela asked
"And why won't I? I see beyond humans now" She said as Angela popped her eyes out.
"What?" She shrieked
"Am a ghost!" She said as Angela quickly rushed to the door as beads of sweat ran down her face.
"You don't have to worry cos I won't hurt you" She said and Angela paused.
"Who are you? And why are you in my room? Why am I the only person who sees or feels your presence? Why me?" Angela kept asking as she burst into tears.
The little girl shook her head in sadness.
"I will tell you everything but you have to promise me that you will help me" She said as Angela freeze in shock.
"Help? How can I help you? I can't help a ghost" Angela freaked out.
"You can Angela... I can't rest in peace if you won't help me" she said as more blood streamed down her cheeks.
Angela was already getting scared the more.
"How??' Angela asked.
"I will everything about me.... I mean every single thing!" She said as Angela nodded.
"OK.. Am listening!" Angela said still standing by the wall.
"It's going to be a long story Angela so please sit down" She said as Angela shook her head in fear.
"No! I'd rather stand" Angela said.
"I won't hurt you Angela because you are my appointed messiah" She said as Angela arched her eyebrows.
She was yet to understand what she meant by "Messiah".
"And my name is Stephanie Jameson..... I was a normal girl just like you" She started.
"You were once human?" Angela asked and she nodded.
"Yes and my family and I lived in this house and this was my room" She said as Angela nodded.
"So what happened to you Stephanie and where is your family?" Angela asked.
"They are in danger Angela.... She took them and she took my corpse" She said with blood streaming down her cheeks and nostrils.
Angela felt for her.
"Who? Who is she?" Angela asked
"Grunga..... Grunga!! That's her name,,, she is in the woods and she took them and she took my corpse" The little Stephanie continued crying.
"Gru.... Grunga???" Angela asked in confusion.
"Yes she is... She is a witch,,,,,, am not saying that she acts like one but she is a real WITCH" The girl cried out.
"Witch? Do witches stay in the woods behind us?' Angela asked in shock.
"Yes.... Grunga is... is a very very wicked witch,,,, she kills Angela" She said scarring the hell outta Angela who was already shivering.
"Did... Did she kill you?" Angela stuttered.
"Yes..... But you can overpower her" Stephanie said.
"What? But you still haven't told me the full story" Angela said.
"I know Angela and I want you to see me as your friend OK...." She said as Angela nodded.
"But first for you to understand my story,,, you will have to come with me in spirit leaving your corpse here" Stephanie said as Angela gasped in shock.
"What?' Angela freaked out.
"Yes... Lie on your bed and close your eyes,,,, I will have to invoke your spirit to come with me to the land of the invisible as I tell you my story" She said as Angela blinked her blue eyes.
Angela wanted to make sure this was not a dream....
But she really has to unravel the mystery.
She summoned courage and walked to the bed.
"First tell your siblings that you are sleeping and won't want any form of distraction" Stephanie said.
"Okay!" Angela replied.
""Sonia! Sonia!! Joel!!!" Angela called.
"Yeah... Yeah.... What is it?" Sonia screamed from her room
"I don't want anyone of you to wake me or disturb me,,, I need some rest" Angela screamed.
"Fine..." Sonia replied as Angela looked at Stephanie.
"Go ahead now" Stephanie said with a smile as Angela laid on the bed.
"Are you sure I won't die as well?' Angela cried out.
"Nope you won't! Close your eyes" Stephanie said as Angela closed her eyes.
And for the first time,,, Stephanie placed her left hand on Angela forehead as her eyes became black in color.
"Let's go" Stephanie yelled as suddenly,,, a shadow came out of Angela who was lying lifelessly on the bed.
They held hands and disappeared.........
