Leonna sighed, it was totally obvious that Terry wasn’t willing to stop, he wasn’t like every other person who regarded her as nothing especially because she was the least in the clan, he talked to her with so much respect and that made her feel so much alive believing that their was still a whole bunch of hope waiting patiently for her somewhere.
She smiled in delight, no one had said thank you to her in a long while “I did what everyone else would do” she answered innocently.
Terry shook his head in disagreement “you saved my life without minding who I am or where I came from, you’re wonderful and I appreciate you for that.”
She nodded smiling sheepishly like a child “well I appreciate you too for appreciating me.”
Terry giggled, he was surprised that he did but he was really glad that someone made him smile happily before the end of that day, his eyes met with that of Leonna who looked away shyly.
