Chapter Seventy—One

I couldn't sleep throughout the night. Thoughts of how my journey with Alexander to the blood moon pack would go kept me awake. I couldn't wait to see his face again. To see his huge grin.

Even before sunrise, I helped myself out of my bed and went into the bathroom. I had my bath and wore the clothes I had picked out the previous night. It was a blue chiffon shirt, and a white silk pants that complemented the color of my hair. My shirt was buttoned up to my chin; I never showed off my chest in order to cover up the full moon birthmark on it. I tied a white silk scarf around my neck and wore a midnight blue velvet jacket over my shirt.
