The Oracle & The Dragon: Ch 62

When Aidinth and I got to the paint store, I had several colors of paint that I needed mixed, so we told the clerk what we wanted, and I started looking at supplies. I grabbed all the brushes I would need, a few drop cloths, and a small roller. I grabbed a few other supplies, and the employee showed each color to me, and I nodded with each one. “Perfect,” I smiled as I put the rest of our supplies on the counter. I was getting excited about starting the painting when my phone chimed. I pulled it out of my back pocket and read the text.

The text is from Adrien. He says the white wolf may be in a bit of trouble.  I whisper in Aidinth’s ear the white wolf may be in trouble. We need to hurry, or I can shift and be there quickly.  He shook his head, “Please don’t shift with the threat of poachers still around.” I agreed, “Okay, but we should hurry.” Aidinth paid for everything, and we hurried back to the house, where the wolf family was waiting for me.
