Adrien and Julien showed up, and I told them, “I think momma here has been poisoned. What can we do about that?” Adrien furrowed his brow, “I’m not really sure. In the wild, they would have to let it run its course and see what happens.” I shook my head, “Not gonna happen.” I looked at my mate and pleaded, “Do you think dragon blood would help?” He smiled, “It might, I’m sure it wouldn’t hurt.” He took a knife and cut his hand just enough to make it bleed. He held it to her mouth and Saige told her to lick it all up. Momma started licking the blood and started acting like she felt better. I smiled as I watched her move around, “I guess dragons blood works on more than one species.” Aidinth laughed, “I’m glad. These pups still need her.”

Saige spoke up, “I asked where she got the poison, and the male said, she found a steak. No one else ate it.” I asked the male, “Will you show Adrien and Julien where the steak is?” He nodded. I told him, “They will protect you.” Saige smiled
