Leon POV Soon the sounds of jaws snapping and growls came to a halt. The rogues had either retreated or where laying dead at our feet. Most of my men where shifting back to check on the wounded. Thankfully my men are all skilled fighters and there was no deaths as far as we could tell. 'There are medical tents set up on our borders. If you can walk, help the wounded. I need a round up group to stay back, so anyone uninjured and willing to stay. We can't leave the bodies in the open like this. Gather up the scum that are left and pile them up. We can come back with the ATVs and get them out of the way.' I boomed out to my men through the link. 'If you can, reach out and let others know too. I'm too far out from other groups.' 'Yes Alpha.' I heard from different men. After about 30 minutes of gathering the wounded up and the bodies of the rogues, I heard a low weak howl in the distance. My Alpha hearing was far beyond that of any normal wolf so I seemed to be the only one to hear it.

Leon POV The moment I opened the door to the pack house, her scent hit me like a train. Fresh rain and lavender, tainted with the smell of antiseptic wash and blood. The noise was nearly overwhelming as people rushed about with food and drinks for the wounded that were brought here to get fixed up, as they weren't too bad, they could head back out again.
