Leonard looked at Wilbur coldly as well. "Mister Chairman, this man has nothing to do with me and his views and words are his own. I hope that much is clear." "You brought him here, so you can't just say that and call it a day," said Amon coldly. Leonard frowned, glaring at Wilbur. Even Catelyn glared at him too. Bruce let out a chuckle. "That's alright for now. Let's have the young man show us his skills before we decide on that." He then looked at Eliam, who waved a hand with a scoff. Two men brought a cauldron over, placing it in front of Wilbur. "Get him the materials required to make ten Spiritual Pills," Eliam ordered, and the two men hurried off to do as they were told at once. Wilbur glanced at the cauldron. It was made of copper, standing over a meter tall with two handles on each side. There were carvings of clouds and herons on it as well. Eliam said, "This is the cauldron I use to make pills. You're lucky enough today that I'm lending it to you. Do your best."
Everyone here was part of the cultivator circle and knew a thing or two about how this worked. Pills had to be made one by one. Was this man trying to be funny making all ten at once? Even Colter Finnegan, Eliam's master, would not do something like that. Just then, Eliam let out a loud peal of laughter. "The guy doesn't even know the basics! He's all talk. What a joke." The crowd laughed along. Leonard turned away, wanting nothing more than for the ground to open up and swallow him. Wilbur held out his arms, and two separate spiritual flames appeared beneath the cauldron. "He's at the Ambience level?" Everyone looked at Wilbur in disbelief, hardly daring to believe their eyes. No wonder this man could afford to talk a big talk. So, he was a prime Ambience level cultivator himself. Leonard stared at Wilbur in shock, and so did Catelyn. Eliam and Jon exchanged glances, their expressions turning even colder. Amon and the rest of the Eldor Four exchanged glances of shock
The crowd seemed to heave a sigh of relief at this as if they had expected this to happen. There would be nothing special about alchemy if anyone could master it just like that! Eliam stood up. "Are you saying that you failed at pill-making, then?" Everyone looked at Wilbur, waiting for him to speak up. Eliam's wrath would be unleashed on Wilbur the second he admitted he had failed. There was no way the chairman was going to let this shameless young man go either, not until he drew his last breath. Amon and the others were practically on the edge of their seats. They would have rushed over if they were not wary of Wilbur's Ambience level power. This man was out to ruin their plan, and there was no way he was getting out of there alive. Just as everyone was waiting for Wilbur to speak up, he said, "They might be defective, but they're far better than the shit your master made." He tossed the pill he was holding back into the cauldron after that. According to his Dragonsoul
Bruce turned purple in the face as he stared at the pill, unable to get a word out. Even a layman would be able to tell the difference between the two Spiritual Pills. There was nothing Bruce could say, be it in defense or in denial. The other businessmen and cultivators stared at Wilbur dumbly, unable to believe that this alchemist was so young. He was young, and he had made such a perfect Spiritual Pill… no, ten Spiritual Pills in one go! This man was practically a genius. Eliam's master could hardly compare to Wilbur, let alone Eliam himself. Eliam, Jon, Amon, and the rest turned to look at Bruce amidst their shock, waiting for him to say something. It was clear that Wilbur had proven himself, and he had not been exaggerating about his skills in the slightest. Now that the Spiritual Pills were completed, it was time to judge if the Fleeceflower was actually real or not. Of course, these men knew that the Fleeceflower would not be able to pass the inspection for sure. I
Wilbur merely smirked in the face of the attack, retaliating with a swift blow of his own at the very last second. A razor-sharp spiritual blade shot out, knocking Eliam's blow away and striking his body. Eliam was sent flying like a rag doll, collapsing on the ground. He was bleeding all over and could not even get up. Everyone could hardly believe their eyes. Eliam was at least a mid Ambience level cultivator, yet he was taken down just like that. They stared at Wilbur with their jaws agape. Bruce could no longer hold himself back. He slammed a fist on the table, pushing himself to his feet and making his way over to Wilbur as he launched an attack. "How dare you fight back, you shameless bastard! You're going down today." Bruce was waiting for Wilbur to take Eliam down, or he would not have a reason to attack him. What he was shocked at, however, was how quickly Eliam had lost. The tension escalated infinitely as soon as Bruce launched his first attack. Spiritual e
Bruce's defeat had lost them their last line of support. There was no stopping Wilbur now if they refused to admit what they had done. But admitting to the scheme would be digging their own grave too. Even the businessmen and cultivators in this room would tear them down, let alone Leonard and Wilbur. The target of the scheme was Leonard, but they had also fooled everyone else here in the meantime. Things were not going to end well for them now that Bruce was down. Just then, the rest of the businessmen and cultivators were returning to their senses bit by bit. If Bruce had the nerve to scam Leonard, would that not make them far easier victims? These people in power hardly cared about them, hatching up a scheme this elaborate to fool everyone. The crowd began to murmur among themselves. These murmurs grew louder and louder, turning into shouts and complaints. Amon, Reed, and Brody turned pale as ghosts, unsure of what to do. Jon let out a sigh, getting to his feet. "Lad
A deafening sound rang through the air. Wilbur collided with Bruce's arms, both of them crashing through the walls and falling over ten stories down. Wilbur landed on both feet, leaving a deep well in the ground. Bruce was far more terrifying, his landing leaving a crater in the ground over a few meters wide. He continued to laugh, staring at Wilbur with bloodshot eyes. "How dare you ruin my plan, you imbecile. I'm going to kill you." "Oh, there's no rush for that. Could you tell me where you got that from first?" Wilbur was practically drooling as he stared at the Crystal Bone lodged in Bruce's chest. That was a Crystal Bone for sure, just like the one Sterling Jenkins, the chairman of Pentagon Group had gifted him in defeat. It was the perfect offering. Wilbur was desperate to get his hands on it. What he did not understand, however, was how someone like Bruce had gotten his hands on something so terrifying. Could it be pure coincidence or fate? Wilbur wanted noth
As Bruce and Wilbur's battle went on, Bruce started to realize that he could not land any solid blows on Wilbur. It was impossible! He had activated the Crystal Bone, which meant that he was definitely as powerful as a mid Sanctuary level cultivator. So why was he still unable to take this guy down? Bruce was furious, losing all reasoning as he exploded with rage. After all, the power held in the Crystal Bone was more than he could handle. The Crystal Bone at his chest shone with a blinding glow, and Bruce let out a howl of pain. His body began to grow again at the same time, muscles bulging as he now stood at a new height of roughly eight meters. There were several bony crystal outgrowths poking out of various parts of his body as his spear-like arms grew several longer. An overwhelming wave of spiritual pressure enveloped the air within a hundred-meter radius as Bruce's bulging eyes turned completely red. He had turned into a feral beast for good. His new power was robbin
Faye was clad in a beautiful wedding dress, hardly needing any blusher for how red her cheeks looked. Wilbur was also looking dapper in a fine tuxedo, and the bride and groom went around toasting to their friends one by one. Both their parents were overjoyed, knowing that their children had finally ended up with someone so wonderful. Everyone else was also brimming with smiles, drinking up a storm as the night went on. These people were all friends or subordinates of Wilbur and wanted nothing more than the best for him and Faye. There was no wedding emcee, and the ceremony was extremely simple, but the atmosphere was incomparable as everyone was nothing but smiles. The reception lasted all the way until late into the night, and even the newlyweds' parents got a little tipsy. The banquet ended at last, and the guests ushered Wilbur and Faye into their new bedroom. The newlyweds sat down facing each other, locking eyes. Faye lowered her head bashfully, and Wilbur looked
It was evening on Sealake Island when Wilbur returned. He stood on the long bridge, overwhelmed with emotion as he let out a hint of his aura. The island grew abuzz at once, and a series of familiar figures fought their way into Wilbur's line of sight. Wilbur smiled, stepping onto the island slowly. His smile grew as he came to the square, taking in the sight of Faye, Elsa, Faron, Shepard, and many others. Everyone else stared back at him, unable to hide the emotion on their faces. It had been so long since they had seen Wilbur, and there was no way for them to reach him. Words could not describe how much they had worried about and missed him. "I thought you were never coming back, Wilbur." Faye was the first to speak. Wilbur walked up to her, taking her into his arms. "I'm sorry. It'll never happen again. Everything's over now, and I'll never leave you again." Faye's heart soared as she broke out into overjoyed sobs. Everyone else was nothing but joyous as well. Fo
Bahamut, being a reincarnation of Kaiser himself, came slithering toward Wilbur. They both turned into their human forms, and a fierce battle broke out once more. Kaiser channeled his energy into Bahamut's body, giving Bahamut the upper hand over time. At last, Bahamut severely wounded Wilbur with a blow of his sword, causing Wilbur to fall from mid-air. "Hahaha!" Kaiser appeared suddenly then, laughing loudly. "Nice work, Bahamut." "Thank you, Master." Bahamut retreated behind Kaiser, looking at him coldly. He whipped out a dagger from his sleeves all of a sudden, driving it deep into Kaiser. Kaiser flipped around sharply, grabbing Bahamut's wrist and glowering at him. "Have you lost your mind?" Just then, the Dark Lord's voice sounded from Bahamut's throat. "You've stopped me many times now, Kaiser Fern! There's no way in hell I'll let you become the ultimate elite!" A furious Kaiser reached out to grab Bahamut's head, sucking him into his body. An explosion sounded throu
Just then, the Cold Lord muttered a spell. A series of snowy mountains descended from above, one of them striking Wilbur and Augheimer as the Cold Lord cackled. "Haha! Is that all you've got?" As his words rang through the air, the snowy mountain exploded with a loud boom into countless icy fragments to reveal Wilbur and Augheimer, standing tall and completely unaffected. "What?" "These imbeciles!" the Flame God shouted. The air around turned into a sea of flames at once, burning away relentlessly, but they vanished as soon as they came in contact with Wilbur and Augheimer's defense barriers. The Earth God shouted, "I'll settle this!" He muttered a spell, and the ground cracked open as Wilbur and Augheimer fell into a bottomless abyss. The Earth God smirked, and the crack began to close up. Yet just a few seconds later, the ground exploded as Wilbur and Augheimer flew back up. The Tornado God cast a spell to bring about a fierce gust of wind filled with countless razor-sh
The next second, Wilbur's Magic Dragon Blade made a gash in the air. The two men then wove through the gash, making their way to the lower dimensions from the upper dimensions and returning to Earth. The gash closed itself up, and a powerful wave of black miasma surged into the oceans from the heavens. It cleared up within a few minutes, and Earth was turned into a dark space. Several big fissures appeared in the heavens as the evil gods descended on Earth. The Blood God, the God of Destruction, the Cold Lord, the Flame God, the Earth God, the Tornado God, the God of Bloodlust, and the Snake God—all eight evil gods had descended upon Earth at the same time. Wilbur summoned the broken pieces of the Light Armor from the Fire Dragon Ring. The pieces radiated a white glow as they hovered in mid-air, and Wilbur quickly used his mind to put them together before wearing the Light Armor on his body. "Hahaha!" The Blood God laughed loudly. "I guess the universe dimensions aren't all
Hailey and Kayleen ducked out of the way before the pillars of light reached them, darting up to Sade at the last second as Hailey drove her sword into him at the same time Kayleen did the same with her spear. Hailey glowered at Sade. "You're the one who's really despicable here, Sade. Say goodbye to the world forever!" "Arghhhh!" Sade's body exploded in a flash of white light, disappearing out of sight. Hailey and Kayleen both got down on one knee. "At your service, Masters." Just then, Wilbur and Augheimer looked at the two ladies at the same time. Augheimer said, "At ease. You can both go back now, your work here is done." "Yes, Master." Hailey and Kayleen disappeared the next second. Just then, a fierce wind rolled over as a pillar of white light descended from the heavens as Odysseus appeared in front of the two men. "Wilbur Penn and Augheimer. I’ve finally found you. Tell me where the dimension guardians are, and hand them over!" A gleeful Odysseus reached out t
Sade threw his head back, laughing loudly. "No one has the right to replace me, no one! I'm the real dimensional guardian, the leader of the galaxy!" Just then, two figures appeared in the sky. They were Hailey and Kayleen, two of the other dimensional guardians. Hailey was holding a long sword as she scowled at Sade below her. "You went against the rules of the universe and changed its functions, Sade. And now you've killed Wilbur Penn, the cultivator who was supposed to replace you. For that, Kayleen and I are going to kill you today." Sade smirked at those words, not looking shocked at all. "I knew you two would never let me go for killing Wilbur. But he's already dead, and I still need to maintain order in the universe as a dimensional guardian. Even though you two may hate me, you can't kill me or you'd be going against the rules of the universe too, and have to be sentenced by Mister Richardson. Trust me, you won't end up in much better of a state than I'm in." Just then
Augheimer asked out of confusion, "What? To the upper dimension? All of a sudden?" Wilbur looked flustered, he replied, "There's no time to explain. Odysseus will be here in a while, and we won't be able to escape." Sade looked at Wilbur. He told Augheimer, "He's right. Believe him. Why would your close friend lie to you?" "That's right. He's a dimensional guardian, Sade. I begged Sade to go back in time here. Hurry up and come with me, Augheimer!" "Thanks, but if we're leaving, we should at least go to Buck Town and meet Felix one last time, right?" asked Augheimer. Wilbur looked at Augheimer in the eyes, there was a sense of familiarity that welled up all of a sudden. Wilbur instantly realized Augheimer had a secret in Buck Town, and perhaps it was very important to Augheimer. He helplessly nodded and replied, "Alright, we'll go to Buck Town first." Then, the three of them came to Buck Town through a transportation array. Augheimer grabbed Wilbur and ran. He said, "Run! F
"Damn it! Your second wish was supposed to be mine!" yelled Odysseus. Odysseus once captured a dimensional guardian's servant by chance, and he used him as leverage to obtain his final two wishes. His first wish was for Sade to guide him to the most powerful power of light spell. His second wish was for Sade to lead him to the Death Scepter. Odysseus mastered the power of two types of laws, the power of light and the power of death. He quickly grasped the intricacies of the power of death due to his unique talent. Odysseus wielded the might of both supreme spells with the Death Scepter and the most powerful power of light spell. Therefore, Odysseus gained immense confidence. His capabilities far surpassed most upper dimension cultivators, but he remained in the middle dimension. His desire was to once again capture a second dimensional guardian servant. Odysseus planned to acquire the Death Cloak by obtaining the servant's wish. Ultimately, he would combine the Death Cloak, D
