Wilbur looked over. "What are you doing? There are outsiders here. Don't scare them." Harry and his friends were regular people, and Wilbur did not want them to know what this place was really hiding. Meanwhile, Harry laughed even harder. He walked up to Ryder, eyeing him challengingly as he stood right in front of the super cannon. "Oh my goodness! We've got a whole cannon too? This sure is some high-budget production! Come on, fire us a shot! Let's see if it's real!" His friends laughed along as well, as if they were watching a clown show. Wilbur frowned in annoyance. Ryder paid no mind to Harry's jeers, putting away the super cannon as ordered. Harry laughed again. "What's the problem? Are you scared you'll be exposed?" Wilbur shook his head. Ryder's expression darkened even more. Just then, Wolf of Venom chuckled as he shook his head. "That's a pretty cool cannon, but it won't work on me. It'll be enough to take care of this idiot, though. You guys don't look like yo
Wilbur stared at a now-relieved Gertridge. "You don't think I killed Wolf of Venom because of you, right?" "I know. He was just too cocky," Gertridge said with a smile. "What do you mean by that?" "That guy has always been arrogant as hell just because he thinks he's an amazing cultivator and doesn't respect anyone but our leader. It's a given you were going to take him down for acting like that on your grounds," Gertridge said. Wilbur smiled. "How are you so sure I was going to kill him?" "I wasn't. But as I said, I didn't have anywhere else to run. I just let fate decide," Gertridge said, shrugging her shoulders. Wilbur scoffed. "Leave this place right now, and never let me see you again. Got it?" He then looked around him. Harry was still collapsed on the ground, lying in a pool of his own filth. His friends were shivering in a heap, their faces pale and devoid of any of the cockiness from earlier. They were stricken with disbelief. None of them knew where that p
The woman was nothing but friendly, chatting merrily from the back. "My name's Eileen Fall. What should I call you two?" "I'm Wilbur. This is Ryder," Wilbur responded. Eileen smiled. "It's nice to meet you." "What brings you here alone?" Wilbur asked. Eileen sighed. "Don't start. I've been so bored." "Why did you walk instead of driving up? Are you from out of town?" "I can't drive." Wilbur raised his brows. Were there actually people who could not drive in this day and age? Eileen smiled. "I really can't drive. My hands and legs stop listening to me the second I get in the driver's seat." "Ah, I see. That's fine," Wilbur replied with a chuckle. The two of them continued making small talk as the car drove on. Around noon, the driving road stopped near the peak and Wilbur turned off the car's engine. "There's no driving from here. We can only walk now." Eileen got out of the car. "Thank you so much! I hope to see you again." Wilbur waved back. "Goodbye." Eileen
Wilbur stopped in his tracks, looking at a cave deep into the canyon silently. The moon had just come out then, bathing the peak of the mountain in a faint glow. Two figures appeared above the canyon, one on each side. Wilbur frowned, looking to his left. Sure enough, it was Eileen. On the other side, however, was a foreign-looking man. He was wearing red robes, with what looked like a pair of silver shackles on his wrists. Despite being hundreds of meters away, Wilbur could see them clear as day. The three of them seemed to spot each other at the same time. They paused for a moment before both Eileen and the man in the shackles leaped down into the valley at the same time. Both of them, along with Wilbur, stood in a triangular formation, observing each other from a distance. Wilbur was the first to speak up. "To clear up any misunderstandings, should we tell each other who we are and why we're here first?" "Oh, hi! It didn't take long for us to meet again." Eileen
"What about her cult members? Surely she's not the only member and founder of the Skull Cult, right?" Wilbur could not understand. Eileen said, "I think all her members are in that lake over there." Wilbur glanced at the bloody lake and nodded in realization. This monster had founded a cult and then turned all her cult members into blood. Bloody hell, indeed. "I don't know what these people were thinking, joining the Skull Cult," Wilbur said with a shrug. "Let me explain." Suelyn let out a strange giggle, moving closer to the three of them as she spoke. "They wanted to live forever, just like me. I gave them some hope, and they joined me without a doubt. But these people are just lowlives, far from deserving of being chosen by the Blood God! Being a sacrifice was their best fate." Wilbur responded, "Is that so? I'm curious as to why you betrayed your Bloodism church and even stole one of their sacred items." Suelyn burst out laughing. "I had the same goal as all these
The three of them had shown their powers at the same time. Constantine shouted, "It's an honor to work with the both of you! I'll be going first." He soared into the air after that, lifting his arms. A scorching ray of holy flame shot in Suelyn's direction with immense power. At the same time, Eileen cried out as she gripped her two swords, crouching low before she charged toward Suelyn as well. That was Eileen's special move, the Armor of Blades. Wilbur wielded his thunder cleaver and prepared to join the battle. Yet all of a sudden, the Sea of Blood rippled and no less than fifty monsters appeared out of nowhere, charging in their direction. These monsters were similar to wolves, but they were the size of a calf. With bodies made of raw bloody flesh, they bared their fangs at the trio. The Blood Wolves charged, heading for the three cultivators' backs. "Watch our backs!" Eileen shouted, continuing to charge at Suelyn. Wilbur had no choice but to turn around, fighting
Eileen scoffed. She hurled her swords outwards, and they flew through the air towards Suelyn. Suelyn let out a dull giggle. The blood sword in her grasp spun in a circle, forming an energy shield that knocked Eileen's swords away at once. Eileen's spirit energy exploded then, and she put her palms together. "Soaring Double!" The swords seemed to whip back under Eileen's command, attacking Suelyn from multiple angles at the speed of light. Suelyn let out a howl, oblivious to the attack as she launched an attack in Eileen's direction. Eileen was unable to move because she was casting the Soaring Double, and Suelyn's attack was about to hit her. Just then, Eileen cried out, "Shield!" The spirit armor on her body grew, forming a gigantic body of armor around three meters tall that protected her in the center. Suelyn's attack let out a deafening sound as it collided with the armor. The armor glowed with spirit energy as it deflected Suelyn's attack. Eileen's two swords w
Wilbur turned his spirit energy into a lightning bolt, channeling it into the blade of the thunder cleaver. All at once, the thunder cleaver lit up with a blinding spark of lightning. Wilbur looked right at the Blood Wolves about to pounce on him. The lightning strike exploded into countless bolts, striking the Blood Wolves. The wolves cried out in agony, turning to ash. The Blood Wolves that died from the lightning strike had no way of turning back to blood and returning to the lake of blood. That way, Wilbur would be able to slowly whittle away Suelyn's energy. At the same time, Suelyn's battle against Constantine and Eileen reached a climactic point. Constantine's halo shone as the angelic figures flew and the air, filling it with prayer. Ray after ray of holy light lashed out toward Suelyn between Constantine's shackled hands. Constantine had also begun chanting amidst his attacks. A ray of holy light shot through the Sea of Blood, shining down on Constantine and grea
Faye was clad in a beautiful wedding dress, hardly needing any blusher for how red her cheeks looked. Wilbur was also looking dapper in a fine tuxedo, and the bride and groom went around toasting to their friends one by one. Both their parents were overjoyed, knowing that their children had finally ended up with someone so wonderful. Everyone else was also brimming with smiles, drinking up a storm as the night went on. These people were all friends or subordinates of Wilbur and wanted nothing more than the best for him and Faye. There was no wedding emcee, and the ceremony was extremely simple, but the atmosphere was incomparable as everyone was nothing but smiles. The reception lasted all the way until late into the night, and even the newlyweds' parents got a little tipsy. The banquet ended at last, and the guests ushered Wilbur and Faye into their new bedroom. The newlyweds sat down facing each other, locking eyes. Faye lowered her head bashfully, and Wilbur looked
It was evening on Sealake Island when Wilbur returned. He stood on the long bridge, overwhelmed with emotion as he let out a hint of his aura. The island grew abuzz at once, and a series of familiar figures fought their way into Wilbur's line of sight. Wilbur smiled, stepping onto the island slowly. His smile grew as he came to the square, taking in the sight of Faye, Elsa, Faron, Shepard, and many others. Everyone else stared back at him, unable to hide the emotion on their faces. It had been so long since they had seen Wilbur, and there was no way for them to reach him. Words could not describe how much they had worried about and missed him. "I thought you were never coming back, Wilbur." Faye was the first to speak. Wilbur walked up to her, taking her into his arms. "I'm sorry. It'll never happen again. Everything's over now, and I'll never leave you again." Faye's heart soared as she broke out into overjoyed sobs. Everyone else was nothing but joyous as well. Fo
Bahamut, being a reincarnation of Kaiser himself, came slithering toward Wilbur. They both turned into their human forms, and a fierce battle broke out once more. Kaiser channeled his energy into Bahamut's body, giving Bahamut the upper hand over time. At last, Bahamut severely wounded Wilbur with a blow of his sword, causing Wilbur to fall from mid-air. "Hahaha!" Kaiser appeared suddenly then, laughing loudly. "Nice work, Bahamut." "Thank you, Master." Bahamut retreated behind Kaiser, looking at him coldly. He whipped out a dagger from his sleeves all of a sudden, driving it deep into Kaiser. Kaiser flipped around sharply, grabbing Bahamut's wrist and glowering at him. "Have you lost your mind?" Just then, the Dark Lord's voice sounded from Bahamut's throat. "You've stopped me many times now, Kaiser Fern! There's no way in hell I'll let you become the ultimate elite!" A furious Kaiser reached out to grab Bahamut's head, sucking him into his body. An explosion sounded throu
Just then, the Cold Lord muttered a spell. A series of snowy mountains descended from above, one of them striking Wilbur and Augheimer as the Cold Lord cackled. "Haha! Is that all you've got?" As his words rang through the air, the snowy mountain exploded with a loud boom into countless icy fragments to reveal Wilbur and Augheimer, standing tall and completely unaffected. "What?" "These imbeciles!" the Flame God shouted. The air around turned into a sea of flames at once, burning away relentlessly, but they vanished as soon as they came in contact with Wilbur and Augheimer's defense barriers. The Earth God shouted, "I'll settle this!" He muttered a spell, and the ground cracked open as Wilbur and Augheimer fell into a bottomless abyss. The Earth God smirked, and the crack began to close up. Yet just a few seconds later, the ground exploded as Wilbur and Augheimer flew back up. The Tornado God cast a spell to bring about a fierce gust of wind filled with countless razor-sh
The next second, Wilbur's Magic Dragon Blade made a gash in the air. The two men then wove through the gash, making their way to the lower dimensions from the upper dimensions and returning to Earth. The gash closed itself up, and a powerful wave of black miasma surged into the oceans from the heavens. It cleared up within a few minutes, and Earth was turned into a dark space. Several big fissures appeared in the heavens as the evil gods descended on Earth. The Blood God, the God of Destruction, the Cold Lord, the Flame God, the Earth God, the Tornado God, the God of Bloodlust, and the Snake God—all eight evil gods had descended upon Earth at the same time. Wilbur summoned the broken pieces of the Light Armor from the Fire Dragon Ring. The pieces radiated a white glow as they hovered in mid-air, and Wilbur quickly used his mind to put them together before wearing the Light Armor on his body. "Hahaha!" The Blood God laughed loudly. "I guess the universe dimensions aren't all
Hailey and Kayleen ducked out of the way before the pillars of light reached them, darting up to Sade at the last second as Hailey drove her sword into him at the same time Kayleen did the same with her spear. Hailey glowered at Sade. "You're the one who's really despicable here, Sade. Say goodbye to the world forever!" "Arghhhh!" Sade's body exploded in a flash of white light, disappearing out of sight. Hailey and Kayleen both got down on one knee. "At your service, Masters." Just then, Wilbur and Augheimer looked at the two ladies at the same time. Augheimer said, "At ease. You can both go back now, your work here is done." "Yes, Master." Hailey and Kayleen disappeared the next second. Just then, a fierce wind rolled over as a pillar of white light descended from the heavens as Odysseus appeared in front of the two men. "Wilbur Penn and Augheimer. I’ve finally found you. Tell me where the dimension guardians are, and hand them over!" A gleeful Odysseus reached out t
Sade threw his head back, laughing loudly. "No one has the right to replace me, no one! I'm the real dimensional guardian, the leader of the galaxy!" Just then, two figures appeared in the sky. They were Hailey and Kayleen, two of the other dimensional guardians. Hailey was holding a long sword as she scowled at Sade below her. "You went against the rules of the universe and changed its functions, Sade. And now you've killed Wilbur Penn, the cultivator who was supposed to replace you. For that, Kayleen and I are going to kill you today." Sade smirked at those words, not looking shocked at all. "I knew you two would never let me go for killing Wilbur. But he's already dead, and I still need to maintain order in the universe as a dimensional guardian. Even though you two may hate me, you can't kill me or you'd be going against the rules of the universe too, and have to be sentenced by Mister Richardson. Trust me, you won't end up in much better of a state than I'm in." Just then
Augheimer asked out of confusion, "What? To the upper dimension? All of a sudden?" Wilbur looked flustered, he replied, "There's no time to explain. Odysseus will be here in a while, and we won't be able to escape." Sade looked at Wilbur. He told Augheimer, "He's right. Believe him. Why would your close friend lie to you?" "That's right. He's a dimensional guardian, Sade. I begged Sade to go back in time here. Hurry up and come with me, Augheimer!" "Thanks, but if we're leaving, we should at least go to Buck Town and meet Felix one last time, right?" asked Augheimer. Wilbur looked at Augheimer in the eyes, there was a sense of familiarity that welled up all of a sudden. Wilbur instantly realized Augheimer had a secret in Buck Town, and perhaps it was very important to Augheimer. He helplessly nodded and replied, "Alright, we'll go to Buck Town first." Then, the three of them came to Buck Town through a transportation array. Augheimer grabbed Wilbur and ran. He said, "Run! F
"Damn it! Your second wish was supposed to be mine!" yelled Odysseus. Odysseus once captured a dimensional guardian's servant by chance, and he used him as leverage to obtain his final two wishes. His first wish was for Sade to guide him to the most powerful power of light spell. His second wish was for Sade to lead him to the Death Scepter. Odysseus mastered the power of two types of laws, the power of light and the power of death. He quickly grasped the intricacies of the power of death due to his unique talent. Odysseus wielded the might of both supreme spells with the Death Scepter and the most powerful power of light spell. Therefore, Odysseus gained immense confidence. His capabilities far surpassed most upper dimension cultivators, but he remained in the middle dimension. His desire was to once again capture a second dimensional guardian servant. Odysseus planned to acquire the Death Cloak by obtaining the servant's wish. Ultimately, he would combine the Death Cloak, D
