A Few Days Later
You felt like any minute your head was gonna fall off.
Revision after revision. Days spent shoving old books with lectures up your face. You almost died recalling those formulas for math and chemistry and physics.
Lisa sounds like she's about to snap your neck in two with how much she's breathing beside you. Blinking, she snaps her attention to you for the second time. You've been sending fire towards the man sitting across you for a good three minutes now.
"He swept to power four years ago, on a reputation as a strong and decisive leader. And promises to eradicate drugs, crime, and wide spread corruption in the Philippin-'"Anyone up for horror?"You wer
"This is why I tell you not to over work yourself. But do you listen? Of course not. My words just go in one ear and out the other." Lisa nags on endlessly like a fall from a canyon. She throws her hand in the air too as if to add more emphasis of her frustration."You even had Zale call in a doctor. ""I'm not."
Lisa texted Zale announcing a change of plan a little after two minutes. She's not coming home tonight. She also told Zale to relay the message about the spare key under the carpet.
Next Morning"You look like you've been ambushed by a gang of angry squirrels."A soft voice pierces through whatever was left of your alone time. You do as much as to shift your head to see the figure approaching you, head still rested above your arm.
It's silent for a while. And you're starting to feel embarrassed by the situation. You can also hear his heart beating in a soothing rhythm, vibrating through his chest.
"Did you say something?""No." You reply after a while."I'm pretty sure you said something." He lifts an eyebrow up and you ignore him.
James' excited to have an addition to the family, that, you've noticed. And because of that, you now find yourself blankly strolling through an aisle inside a baby shop. Now a crazy fact about yourself is that you're not a fan of babies. It's not that you hate them though. You just have a huge disregard when it comes to them. Past experience with kids just made you not want to be around them.
