Chapter 99: Derry gets Disappointed

The rest of the journey was done in silence as Derry processed what Derrick said and Derrick thought of how to prove his innocence to Lily and what to do with two pregnant women in his apartment.

"I need to see Luis and find out the latest update on the investigation," Derrick thought.

He made a decision and broke the long silence in the car.

"Derry, I would need you to drop me off at a friend's place," Derrick requested and Derry instructed the driver to turn around as Derrick gave him Luis's house address.

Derrick pulled his phone out of his pocket and first called Marcus to inform him he would not be coming to the office and after he called Rosy and equally informed her, he wouldn't come to the office.
