"When is this going to end? I want my Lily back" Derrick thought kicking the railing

He groaned in pain from his hurt foot. He climbed the stairs and walked towards Lily's closed door. He raised his hand to knock but froze deciding on whether or not he should knock. He eventually decided to knock. He knocked gently twice and called Lily but there was no response. He tried again, a second and a third time, and the result was the same. He left sadly believing Lily was still mad at him. He went straight to his study to find something to distract himself.
