After breakfast, Derrick left the apartment to meet up with Lyla as scheduled. He had chosen a restaurant as the meeting place. He booked a private room in the restaurant for that purpose. He arrived at the place first, parked his car two blocks away and walked to the location with a disguise. He was taken to the private room he had booked. He ordered a cup of coffee as he waited for Lyla who had not arrived yet.
