The apologetic surprise did not end with Derrick singing and giving her a bouquet of rose flowers, but he gave all the house servants the evening off and cooked dinner. He led Lily to the dining area. The set-up was simple yet amazing. The dining table was gone but in the centre of the room was a round table with just two chairs.
