Chapter 74: End of Vacation

Lily leaned on the car for support as her legs could not hold her. Her whole world was spinning as the ground was slipping from beneath her. The scene from the restaurant was stuck in her eye. She sees it when she closes her eyes and still sees it when she opens her eyes. It was like a nightmare she could not wake up from.

Feeling hurt, she spoiled her nicely done hair, removed the jewellery and threw them away as she wailed in pain.

"Why will he do this to me?" Lily questioned still leaning against the parked car in the car park.

The spa, the make-up, the dress, the ride to the restaurant and the welcome by the waiter, she had thought it was for her, only now did she realize it was all a mistake.
