Chapter 149: Telling a story

He ran his hand through his hair and stared at her one more time.

Derry could not close his eyes any more as the dream he had earlier kept on playing in his mind. He was lying face up on the bed. He stared at the spiral chandelier light hanging from the ceiling in the deep light. His side of the lamp was illuminating the room. It was a yellow light and hence not loud enough to disturb anyone.

He stayed in bed like that till he heard Alexa's greetings as she opens the window blinds inviting the ray of the rising sun into the room

"Good morning boss, it is 6 am," Alexa greeted

Lily frowns at the ray of light that fell directly on her face. She pulled the sheet to cover her face causing Derry to look in her direction.

"Alexa, closed the curtain blind on the left," he said noticing the ray of light was disturbing her
