Chapter 151: Time is a healer

Derry pulled out his phone and dialled Luis's number

"Hello, hope you are good. She is okay now. She remembers everything," he said as soon as the call connected

"So how is she now?" Luis enquired from the other end of the call

Luis's question was not to know how Lily was doing but rather how Derry was doing now that Lily has gained her memory.

"She is hurt but slept off as soon as her head touched the pillow. I guess she is also exhausted," he replied

"Okay. The good news is, she is no longer living in an illusional state," Luis pointed out "Does she remember anything about you two?" he enquired when Derry's response was just about Lily's health.

"Not sure, she had not said anything about that. She is still in some kind of shock. She is hurt. She needs time and probably space," he replied with some evidence of sadness in his last sentence.

It would be too much for him to tell her how he feels now. He would have to wait but for how long and what would he be doing during the wait? W
