Sheela was right. Daniel and Elsa had fixed a time somewhere else, excused themselves for some time, and slipped away from the group, citing some critical work at a distant ethanol lab. They had preserved their energies for the upcoming presentation at the ethanol lab. Daniel wanted to celebrate on Brazilian soil with Elsa and tell her his feelings.
