Victoria's POV

"I'll leave you guys to talk",

Aysha said as she went outside the house, giving us privacy.

"So, you got a new job and couldn't tell me?"

Lewis said and I could sense hurt in his tone.

"I'm sorry, I wanted to, but you're currently not in the best situation." "You've been in the same slump for a while now and I couldn't find the right time."

" I'm sorry Lewis, I didn't know how to tell you," I said looking down at my feet and not at him.

He then came over to me, hugged me and said that it was okay and he was happy for me.

"So what's the new job about?"

He asked me curiously.

"It's just a small company, I got the admin job, I can use my knowledge there and I think it's gonna be great", I said with excitement.

"Of course, you're great at everything and I know you'll do a good job."

"A secretary job doesn't fit you at all."

"Your skills are far more valuable", he said and gave me a warm smile.
