Chapter 22 : The Preparations

Lewis' POV

I couldn't believe my eyes as I saw her. She looked chubbier than when I last saw her. My eyes drifted to her belly and I could see a baby bump.

"You're pregnant?"

Victoria and I both said in unison.

My dad wasn't surprised so I guessed he knew about it too.

"Yes, I found out a month ago", she said as she rubbed her tummy and came to sit with us.

"There's something important that you all need to know."

"I know what Mason meant when he said that he's going to make sure Victoria doesn't become your wife, he's planning on doing something very heinous", she said as she narrated everything she overheard a few days ago.

I couldn't believe my ears as she spoke, he was planning on kidnapping Victoria on our wedding day. That would never happen on my watch.
