Everything felt like it was happening in an instant. One second I stood there, exposed and vulnerable before Adam, and then the next I was cocooned safely within his embrace.

His arms surrounding me felt like my only protection against the world. Afraid of what might come next and uncertain of where this passionate embrace would lead us, I allowed myself to be lost in that moment.
