Xavier

I pace the cold, grey interrogation room, my mind racing. I check my watch and realize that it has only been twenty minutes. Twenty minutes which feel like an eternity.

Finally, the door opened.

A figure enters, dressed in a sharp suit.

"Camilla?"

"Don't worry. I'm here."

I exhale, relief washing over me. "How did you...?"

"Joseph called me," she explains. "He wants me to represent you. You know, because--"

I nod, cutting her off. Even if her father did some despicable things, he was still her father. I couldn't even imagine what she was going through.

Camilla's expertise in high-profile cases is unmatched. She practiced for a while, but her father always seemed to need her back home every now and then.

It wasn't obvious, what he was doing. But after a while, I became suspicious. But Camilla never said anything. She always tried to be happy, no matter what.

"Mr. Castello," she says then clears her throat. She subtely surveys the room, searching for recording devices of any k

Xavier I stood outside the abandoned warehouse, the only sound was the distant hum of the city. It was a chilly night. "Everyone ready?" I whispered, my eyes scanning the area.Joseph nodded, his face illuminated by the faint light of his phone. "The buyer is supposed to meet us here."Lorenzo and Mateo flanked my father, their eyes watchful. Ariana and Camilla sat in the car. Their job was to sit pretty. Suddenly, a car pulled up. The headlights casted an eerie glow. Someone alighted then walked toward us. "Xavier, my friend you actually showed up did you" he said, his voice dripped with sarcasm. "I see you're trying to get rid of what you stole from me in the first place."I narrowed my eyes. "Arturo. What are you doing here?"He chuckled. "I'm the buyer, of course. And I'm afraid I'm not here to pay, I need my shit back." With a flick of his wrist, Arturo's men emerged from the shadows, surrounding us."You see, Xavier, I've been looking to expand my operations. I'm sure you

Ariana I stood frozen, my eyes fixed on the scene unfolding before me. A grown man on the ground, clutching his leg in agony. Xavier towered over him, his face cold.I felt a shiver run down my spine as I realized the gravity of what I was witnessing. Joseph had insisted that Camilla and I be present, saying that we needed to see what happened to traitors now that we were 'part of the business'.I glanced over at Camilla, who looked pale and shaken. I felt a pang of sympathy for her, but I knew I had to keep my emotions in check.Beto's words cut through the air. "You humiliated me in front of everyone," he spat, his eyes blazing with anger. "Because of her."He nodded towards me, and I felt a chill run down my spine. "You've grown soft, Don Xavier," Beto sneered. "You let your feelings for her cloud your judgment."Xavier's expression didn't change, but I saw a flicker of something in his eyes. Anger? Guilt?"You're wrong, Beto," Xavier said, his voice cold. "My feelings for Ariana

Ariana It he'd bearly been twenty four hours. I stood in the foyer still trying to process the news that Xavier had just shared with me. A funeral for Beto? I couldn't believe it. After everything he had done, I wouldn't have thought that the Castellos would even bother. But Xavier's words kept echoing in my mind: "Even if he was a traitor, he was still family." It was a strange sense of loyalty, one that I didn't fully understand. We drove to the chapel in silence, the only sound the hum of the engine and the soft rustle of the wind through the trees. I had never seen the chapel before, and I was struck by its grandeur. It was massive, with towering spires and stained glass windows that filtered the sunlight into a kaleidoscope of colors. The Castello estate was huge, and I felt a sense of awe wash over me as we stepped out of the car. I had never realized just how big it was, or how much history was buried within its walls. As we entered the chapel, I saw that it was already fill

Xavier My instincts kicked in the moment I heard the gunshot. Something was terribly wrong. I scanned the area, my eyes locking onto the surrounding stalls and the crowd. Panic was starting to set in, and I knew I had to act fast.I cursed myself for not bringing more men. I hadn't anticipated this. The fish market was a routine stop, one that I made every month without incident. There was no way anyone would have known I'd be here today. But someone had. And now, I was paying the price for my complacency.I quickly assessed the situation, my mind racing with possibilities. I spotted a few of my men, scattered throughout the crowd, but they were vastly outnumbered.I heard more sound of gunfire echoe through the market, and I knew we were surrounded.Something was terribly wrong. Xavier As we pulled into the driveway, I could see my father, Joseph, pacing back and forth outside the house. His face was etched with worry and fear, and he rushed over to the car as soon as we stopped."Xavier, oh my god, what happened?" he exclaimed, helping me out of the car. I winced in pain as he touched my injured arm."I was ambushed at the market," I explained, trying to keep my voice steady. "Arturo's men were waiting for me."Joseph's face darkened with anger. "This is unacceptable," he growled. "There's another traitor, I'm certain of it. Someone who told Arturo where you'd be."I felt a pang of guilt, knowing that Ariana was the one who had handed Arturo the evidence he needed. But I couldn't bring myself to rat her out, not yet. Maybe it was because I still didn't want to believe that she had betrayed me."I don't know, Father," I said, trying to sound convincing. "I'll look into it, see if I can find out who was behind the ambush."Joseph's eyes narrowed, but he didn'

ArianaI stood calmly, watching as the men in black searched the office. I knew what they would find. I had planned this carefully, making sure to cover my tracks. As they discovered the listening devices, I felt a sense of satisfaction. It was all going according to plan. And then, they found the spyware on Xavier's phone. I glanced over at him, seeing the shock and realization dawn on his face.He knew. He knew that I had done this. I could see the questions in his eyes, the accusations. But I just stood there, calm and collected, my expression giving nothing away.I had outsmarted them all, and I had saved myself. For now, at least. When they were done taking everything out, Joseph escorted the team out. He also, finally decided that it was time to go back to wherever he was coming from. Xavier's eyes locked onto mine, and I could see the anger and hurt simmering. He took a step closer to me."Why?" he asked. I felt a flutter in my chest, but I pushed it aside. I had been prepare

Ariana It had been almost a week since Xavier had last spoken to me. He had been ignoring me, and I couldn't blame him. I had hurt him deeply, and I didn't know how to make it right. The silence was oppressive, weighing heavily on my conscience. I had tried to apologize, to explain why I had done what I did, but Xavier had just turned away, his eyes cold and hard.I felt lost and alone, unsure of how to bridge the gap between us. I had grown accustomed to Xavier's presence, his fierce protection and possessiveness. Without it, I felt adrift, vulnerable. As the days turned into a week, I began to wonder if Xavier would ever forgive me. Or if I would be trapped in this limbo forever, unable to escape the consequences of my actions.I couldn't bear the thought of locking myself up in my room in the main house, not when Xavier was avoiding me. So, I made my way to Camilla's quarters, seeking the comfort of her warm and loving presence.I'd been spending a lot of time with Camilla lately,

ArianaI stood outside Xavier's door, my fist clenched as I knocked hard. The sound echoed down the hallway, and I could feel tears streaming down my face. I was crying uncontrollably, my body shaking with sobs. The door creaked open, and Xavier's tall frame loomed in front of me. His eyes narrowed, and he pulled me inside, shutting the door behind us."What's wrong?" he hissed, his voice low and urgent. "Do you want to wake up my dad?"I pouted, feeling a mix of emotions swirling inside me. I looked down, my eyes welling up with tears again. "I'm sorry," I whispered, sliding down to the floor and bringing my knees up to my chest. I wrapped my arms around my legs, holding myself tightly as I began to rock back and forth. The motion was soothing, but it didn't calm the storm inside me.He stood there, watching me with an unreadable expression. He didn't say a word, didn't move a muscle. His silence was unnerving, but I deserved it."I'm sorry," I whispered again, my voice cracking.I

ArianaWe finally settled into our luxurious villa in Sicily after a long day of traveling. Xavier and I collapsed onto the plush couch, exhausted. Camilla and Lorenzo were busy unpacking in the kitchen, chatting quietly to each other. I snuggled into Xavier's side, feeling grateful to be here with him in this beautiful city.Xavier wrapped his arm around me, holding me close. "I'm glad we're finally here," he said, his voice low and soothing. "We can finally relax and enjoy some time together." I nodded, feeling a sense of relief wash over me.I gently pushed Xavier away, smiling at him. "You need to go," I said, trying to sound firm. "My glam squad will be here any minute to start getting me ready." Xavier raised an eyebrow, but I could see the hint of a smile on his lips. "And you need to change," I added, glancing at his casual clothes. "The wedding is in a few hours, and you can't show up looking like that." Xavier chuckled and stood up, pulling me to my feet. ArianaI walked along the beach, feeling the warm sand between my toes. It was hard to believe it had been months since that fateful night. So much had changed since then.Xavier walked beside me, his eyes scanning the horizon. We had grown closer in the past few months, but I still couldn't help but feel a little intimidated by him. He was, after all, the man who had killed Arturo and his men.Camilla and Lorenzo were walking ahead of us, laughing and chatting. They had started dating a few weeks ago, and it was clear that they were meant to be. Camilla was glowing with happiness, and Lorenzo couldn't take his eyes off her.I smiled to myself as I watched them. It was nice to see my friends happy. And as for me? I was still figuring things out. I had been through so much in the past few months, and I was still trying to process it all.But as I looked over at Xavier, I felt a sense of gratitude towards him. ArianaAs the car sped down the highway, I felt a sense of dread wash over me. The driver was going very fast and I was getting anxious. I didn't know where I was going or what would happen to me when I got there. As the car sped down the highway, I realized I had to escape. I couldn't let Arturo take me away. I started kicking and screaming, trying to get the driver's attention. The driver, a tall, menacing man, looked at me in the rearview mirror. "Shut up," he growled.I didn't stop. I kept kicking and screaming, trying to break free. The driver swerved the car to the side of the road and slammed on the brakes. The man in the passenger seat turned around and grabbed me. "Hold still," he snarled.I struggled against him, but he was too strong. XavierI paced back and forth in my room, my mind racing with thoughts of Ariana. Where was she? Was she safe? The not knowing was killing me.I stopped pacing and looked around the room, my eyes falling on the phone. I needed to call Mateo. He had to know something.I dialed his number, my heart racing with anticipation. When he answered, I didn't waste any time."Mateo, where's Ariana?" I demanded. There was a pause on the other end of the line. "Xavier, I...I don't know what you're talking about."I felt a surge of anger. "Don't lie to me, Mateo. I asked you to shadow her."Mateo sighed. "I...I had no choice. Arturo was going to hurt you, and I couldn't let that happen. So I made a deal with him. I gave him Ariana in exchange for your safety."I felt like I'd been punched in the gut. Mateo, my friend, my brother, had betrayed me. He had given Ariana to Arturo, the one person who would hurt her the most."Why, Mateo?" I asked, my voice shaking with anger. "Why would you do that?""I

It was a woman, tall and imposing, with a cruel smile on her face."Welcome, Ariana," she said, her voice dripping with malice. ArianaI stood in the doorway of the chapel, watching as Xavier knelt in front of the altar. His head was bowed, his eyes closed, and his hands clasped together in prayer. It was his sister's death anniversary. I learnt that this was a ritual that their family had observed every year since she passed away. They would go to the chapel, light some candles, and say some prayers. It was a way for them to honor her memory and to find some closure. But today was different. Today, Xavier was not just mourning the loss of his sister, he was also reeling from the news that his mother had passed away. I had seen the look on his face when he received the news, and I knew that he was hell-bent on getting revenge. As I watched him pray, the only thing I could feel was tension in his body. His jaw was clenched, his fists were tight, and his eyes were blazing with anger. He was a man on a mission, and I knew that nothing was going to stop him.I felt a pang of worry as I watched him. I knew that X

XavierI approached the entrance of Arturo's home base, where several guards were stationed. We moved swiftly through Arturo's territory under the cover of night. I had gathered intelligence on the base's layout and security measures, and I knew exactly how to proceed. We took out the guards quickly and quietly, using my training to neutralize them without alerting the rest of the base. Once I was inside, I moved swiftly to the security room, where I disabled the cameras and alarms.Next, I headed to the armory to stock up on weapons and ammo. With my gear in hand, I began to work my way through the base, taking out Arturo's men one by one.My goal was to reach Arturo himself, who I knew would be heavily guarded. I was prepared for a fierce battle, but I was confident in my abilities and my plan. Our first target was his consigliere. We took him out with a precision strike, our team of skilled operatives moving in and out of the location with ease. The consigliere's death sent a shoc

ArianaI sat in front of the bank of computer screens watching the feeds from Arturo's security cameras. For a few weeks we had been monitoring his operation, looking for any sign of weakness, any hint of vulnerability. Finally, something that caught my attention. Arturo's top men, his consigliere has a weakness for gambling. He had been stealing to pay off debt. Threatening the loan sharks was no longer working. Especially now that they had lost a significant amount. This was the opportunity we had been waiting for. I quickly crafted a message, one that would exploit the man's weakness and drive a wedge between him and Arturo.I smiled to myself as I typed out the message. It was simple, yet devastating. "We know about your little secret," it read. "Meet us at the old warehouse at midnight if you want to keep your head." This was just the beginning of the end for Arturo. We would use every trick in the book to dismantle his operation, to turn his own people against him.I leaned ba

XavierI stood in the shadows, watching my men take down Arturo's warehouse. We had been planning this for weeks, and it was finally coming together. The call was from the Lucianos to my father, Joseph, and it was a surprise to everyone. The Lucianos had been quiet for a while, and we hadn't expected them to reach out.But they had, and they had proposed a deal. They wanted to share some intel they had gathered on Arturo's operation, and in return, they wanted a favor. My father had been cautious at first, but the Lucianos' intel had been too good to pass up. They had provided us with detailed information about Arturo's storage facilities, transportation networks, and other key details. With this intel, we had been able to plan a devastating takedown of Arturo's operation. We had caught them off guard, and they hadn't stood a chance.Arturo's men were fiercely loyal, making it impossible to extract information from them. However, Don luciano got us in touch with someone who could help
