Xavier

As I gazed down at Ariana, sleeping peacefully on my chest, I realized this was a first for me. I couldn't reach the last time I had woken up with a woman in my arms. Intimacy wasn't something I allowed. Women were pawns, tools to be used and discarded. But Ariana... she was different.

Her tiny heart beat against mine was soothing. I felt an overwhelming urge to protect her, to shield her from harm with my life.

For the first time, I understood what it meant to truly care for someone. To want to cherish and safeguard them, not just possess them. Ariana's presence in my life had shattered my defenses, exposing a capacity for love I never knew I had. For the first time in years, I slept all through the night. The girl was like some sort of charm.

I wrapped my arms tighter around her, savoring the warmth of her body, the softness of her breath against my skin. A sense of peace washed over me, unfamiliar yet intoxicating. I buried my face in her hair, inhaling the sweet scent of

ArianaI woke up, memories of last night swirling in my mind. It felt like I had been drugged. I was made a vulnerable captive, yet I felt an unsettling sense of safety and warmth in the arms of the very man who took away my freedom. Why had I let my guard down? I was frustrated and very confused. But I recalled his gentle touch, his soft voice, and the sound of his heartbeat. The war my heart fluttered; it was a sensation I'd never experienced before. How could I feel this way about my captor? It was absurd. But the truth was, in Xavier's arms, I felt protected, sheltered from the world. As I tossed aside the covers, his scent clung to the pillow. I couldn't help but smell it. My cheeks flushed, my emotions were all over the place. What was happening to me? Was I losing myself in this captivity or finding a part of myself I never knew existed?I woke up to an empty room and felt a little hollow. For as long as I could remember, I had always slept alone, without the company of anyon

ArianaThe silence of the night was broken by the sound of the front door opening. I stirred, my eyes fluttering open to find Xavier standing in the entrance, his gaze locked onto me. I had fallen asleep on the couch, determined to be the first thing he saw when he returned.Xavier's expression seemed to soften as he took in the sight of me. He nodded to his Lorenzo and Mateo, and they exited the living area, leaving us alone."Ariana," he said, his deep voice low and husky sent tickles to my senses. I sat up, rubbing the sleep from my eyes. "Welcome back Lucky."Xavier approached me, "You waited up for me?" he asked with a hint of surprise.I shrugged, trying to appear nonchalant. "I couldn't sleep."His gaze lingered on me, "You look tired," he said, his voice gentle.I felt a flutter in my chest at his concern, his moved closer to me. "I'm fine."Xavier nodded, “Are you sure? This place is kind of cold.”I rolled my eyes at him, “Yes, I'm sure.”Xavier's movements were swift and

XavierI woke up feeling electrified. Another night, another successful sleep. I looked down to make sure she was still there, I needed to know that I wasn't dreaming. Her eyelids fluttered open, and our eyes met."Ariana," I whispered against her neck. I couldn't resist the urge to kiss her forehead."Good morning." Her soft response sent shivers down my spine. I could get used to waking up by her side everyday. I sprang out of bed, energized and eager to start the day. As I entered the bathroom, I turned on the shower. Cold, as always. "Join me?" I called out. She hesitated, but I knew she wanted to."Come," I coaxed, my voice low and persuasive. The bathroom door creaked open, and Ariana stepped in, her gaze locked on mine. My shower was big enough for ten people. My heart skipped a beat. She was stunning, her hair was disheveled for obvious reasons, but I couldn't tell why her skin was glowing. I pulled her closer while holding her eyes. "Let me make you feel good," I whispe

ArianaMy knees didn't leave my chest the whole night. I rocked back and forth like a child. A dead body! My mind betrayed me more than once, flashing back to the gruesome scene. The reality of my situation had sunk in. Xavier was a monster, and I was trapped. My thoughts swirled, horror and disgust swirling in my stomach. This place felt like chamber of unspeakable crimes. Xavier stood in front of that man's body like he was irrelevant. They talked, had a full conversation after taking a man's life. His hands were covered in blood. The victim's vacant eyes still haunted me, chilling me to the bone. How could I have been so blind? Xavier's charming facade hid a monster. How could I believe him when he said he'd let them go? Now I'm surrounded by Mateo and Lorenzo's grave faces, I felt trapped in a living nightmare. There was no way I could avoid them in their own damn house. He is a murderer! And nothing makes what he did right. There's no justification. I wiped away my tears wit

Xavier As I walked the stairs, my footsteps echoed through the house. Mateo was outside gathering the other men. Arturo is not going to know what hit him. I enter the kitchen to get an apple. It's busy as usual, my kitchen is a hub of activity, it's always chaotic. With over two dozen men living on the estate, mealtime is a logistical challenge. All I can hear is indistinct conversation, clinking dishes, and sizzling pans. The kitchen staff worked in tandem, it was like a well-oiled machine. I wonder how they navigate through this crowded space with ease. It's worse today because we have an event tomorrow. The sound of pots simmer on the stovetop, people chopping vegetables, others expertly flip pancakes, eggs, and bacon on the griddle. I can never get used to this. As a child I struggled with over stimulation. I hate when people talk over the television, or clink their pens or even tap their feet on the floor. Maybe it was because of the type of household I grew up in. My fathe

ArianaIt rained so heavily I stood frozen, my heart racing, as the footsteps approached my room door. The rain pounded against the roof and walls, creating a deafening roar.Thunder boomed, making me jump. I hesitated, wondering who could be entering the mansion by this time of the night. The footsteps resounded. They were so loud I wondered if I was the only one who heard them. They stopped right in front of my room door. The door handle rattled, someone was trying to get in. Unfortunately for me, the prisoner's room door has no peephole.“Ariana!” A deep voice called from behind the door as the rattling continued. “Open the door!” he demanded. It was Xavier. I unlocked the door from the inside, opening it slowly. Water dripped from his slicked-back hair. His piercing gaze seemed to bore into my soul.My breath caught. What brought him here tonight?"Ariana," he said, his deep voice low, too low for comfort. "May I come in?"I stepped aside, letting him in. Xavier entered, tak

Ariana The bathtub is huge, so big that we both fit and there's still space for another person. Xavier's hands gently wrap around mine, guiding them to the soft sponge. His touch sends shivers down my spine, but I try to relax, letting him lead.He begins to scrub my skin, inch by inch. His fingers dance across my arms, shoulders, and back, washing away the tension. The gentle circles soothe my muscles, melting the knots.I close my eyes, letting the warmth seep into my pores. As my mind wrestles with the conflicting emotions. This was the man who murdered someone in cold blood, now he's taking a bath with me like nothing ever happened. I feel a lump form in my throat, but I swallow hard, letting the emotions simmer.I breathe deeply, feeling the weight lift. Xavier's hands pause, sensing my change. He looks at me, his eyes searching. I meet his gaze, and for an instant. The silence is thick, but it's no longer oppressive. I feel the burning in my body begin to subside, replaced by

Ariana He picked me up effortlessly and placed me on his white sheets after cleaning every drop of water from my body. I lay on the bed. My body was still trembling from the intensity of the moment. I tried to sit up, reaching for my nightwear, but he stopped me."Let me," he whispered, his voice husky and low. "You're not going to need that tonight."His eyes locked onto mine, and I felt a flutter in my chest. The way he looked at me, with such desire and adoration, made my skin burn. I couldn't argue with him, not when he looked at me like that.He gently pushed me back onto the bed, his hands tracing the curves of my body. I felt exposed, vulnerable, but also desired. It was a heady feeling, one that I couldn't resist. As he slid into bed beside me, his arms wrapping around me, I knew that I was in trouble. I was falling for him, hard. And I wasn't sure if I could ever go back.I threw my head back and let him do whatever he saw fit. At this point I was his slave. He had me right

Xavier As we pulled into the driveway, I could see my father, Joseph, pacing back and forth outside the house. His face was etched with worry and fear, and he rushed over to the car as soon as we stopped."Xavier, oh my god, what happened?" he exclaimed, helping me out of the car. I winced in pain as he touched my injured arm."I was ambushed at the market," I explained, trying to keep my voice steady. "Arturo's men were waiting for me."Joseph's face darkened with anger. "This is unacceptable," he growled. "There's another traitor, I'm certain of it. Someone who told Arturo where you'd be."I felt a pang of guilt, knowing that Ariana was the one who had handed Arturo the evidence he needed. But I couldn't bring myself to rat her out, not yet. Maybe it was because I still didn't want to believe that she had betrayed me."I don't know, Father," I said, trying to sound convincing. "I'll look into it, see if I can find out who was behind the ambush."Joseph's eyes narrowed, but he didn'

Ariana It he'd bearly been twenty four hours. I stood in the foyer still trying to process the news that Xavier had just shared with me. A funeral for Beto? I couldn't believe it. After everything he had done, I wouldn't have thought that the Castellos would even bother. But Xavier's words kept echoing in my mind: "Even if he was a traitor, he was still family." It was a strange sense of loyalty, one that I didn't fully understand. We drove to the chapel in silence, the only sound the hum of the engine and the soft rustle of the wind through the trees. It was massive, with towering spires and stained glass windows that filtered the sunlight into a kaleidoscope of colors. The Castello estate was huge, and I felt a sense of awe wash over me as we stepped out of the car. I had never realized just how big it was, or how much history was buried within its walls. As we entered the chapel, I saw that it was already fill

Ariana I stood frozen, my eyes fixed on the scene unfolding before me. A grown man on the ground, clutching his leg in agony. Xavier towered over him, his face cold.I felt a shiver run down my spine as I realized the gravity of what I was witnessing. Joseph had insisted that Camilla and I be present, saying that we needed to see what happened to traitors now that we were 'part of the business'.I glanced over at Camilla, who looked pale and shaken. I felt a pang of sympathy for her, but I knew I had to keep my emotions in check.Beto's words cut through the air. "You humiliated me in front of everyone," he spat, his eyes blazing with anger. "Because of her."He nodded towards me, and I felt a chill run down my spine. "You've grown soft, Don Xavier," Beto sneered. "You let your feelings for her cloud your judgment."Xavier's expression didn't change, but I saw a flicker of something in his eyes. Anger? Guilt?"You're wrong, Beto," Xavier said, his voice cold. "My feelings for Ariana

Xavier I stood outside the abandoned warehouse, the only sound was the distant hum of the city. It was a chilly night. "Everyone ready?" I whispered, my eyes scanning the area.Joseph nodded, his face illuminated by the faint light of his phone. "The buyer is supposed to meet us here."Lorenzo and Mateo flanked my father, their eyes watchful. Ariana and Camilla sat in the car. Their job was to sit pretty. Suddenly, a car pulled up. The headlights casted an eerie glow. Someone alighted then walked toward us. "Xavier, my friend you actually showed up did you" he said, his voice dripped with sarcasm. "I see you're trying to get rid of what you stole from me in the first place."I narrowed my eyes. "Arturo. What are you doing here?"He chuckled. "I'm the buyer, of course. And I'm afraid I'm not here to pay, I need my shit back." With a flick of his wrist, Arturo's men emerged from the shadows, surrounding us."You see, Xavier, I've been looking to expand my operations. XavierBefore Joseph can say anything, I tell Mateo to take Ariana back to the house right away. I just had to make sure she was okay after what had just happened.Mateo nodded and quickly walked over to Ariana, then escorted her away. The next order of business was to get Joseph far away from her. We were both cut from the same cloth. I was a younger version of him. He raised me never to take no for an answer, so I wasn't going to stand her and watch him insult me in my own house. Not in front of my men. We got into the car and drove away. The security team followed directly behind us in other vehicles. My father always used official cars when ever he was in the country.
